No, Republican goes to create UNEMPLOYMENT. Thus to ensure that the President is a one term president. I guess that having a president ELECTED is considered anti Republican.

Wow. I should have posed that question as, rhetorical I guess. I hear you, I can't wait until this is all over too.

You know, I really don't know anyone more conservative than me. But I must say I REALLY don't care about people's personal sex lives. As long as they're not committing a crime it's no ones business. I do think it's a crime to molest a subordinate employee in the workplace. You know, like a dumpy little pizza delivery intern (Mr. Clinton) or a congressional page (Mr. Frank). But again, aside from criminal activity (I don't think wearing an animal costume qualifies) I think we all might consider moving on to more pressing issues. Like the fact that we all know it's impossible to end a recession by building roads and bridges because it's already been tried. Or the fact that Cap and Trade has already been tried and failed in Spain and elswhere. Or that the Prime Minister of Canada travels to the United States to get health care and we're attempting to model our system after theirs. At the end of the day can we all agree that what some guy from Oregon wears to get turned on isn't really that important?

These figures represent 8 years of Bush. Get the facts right, Get off the False News channel ,Rush, all the other right media. Check your facts more before you fill the misinformed veiwers of False News. For a party that doesn't like the government you sure quote ( U.S. Dept of Labor, USDA, Federal Reserve, U. S. Treasury) see my point here. Let's see Wall Street, S&P, Heritage Foundation,FDIC, Conference Board all the rest are right wing outlets. Check you facts with more than that next time and you might get some facts right.

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against tax cheats, we have tax cheats?

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president and nine Supreme Court justices - 545 human beings out of the 235 million - are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

maybe, we the people, need to vote out every incumbent in Washington, every election, every time...just to make them squirm...to make them fear for their job?

Unless Congress has the common sense to require products SOLD in the US be made with the same mandates Congress requires of products MADE in the US, Dem or Repub won’t make a difference to the unemployed and the US deficits in trade and fiscal spending.

The song "All The Right Moves" by One Republic sums this up nicely.
You have to question why these "civil servants" would blow millions of dollars (granted, not their own money, but still) in an attempt to get elected to a job that pays relatively very little.

No actually it's the right. Under George W Bush our national debt rose by 4.9 trillion dollars, more than it had under all previous presidents combined. He launched into unnecessary and unfunded wars, he pushed through a Medicare drug plan that was also unfunded, and he allowed the drug industry to write the bill so that the government couldn't negotiate prices. When Ronald Reagan took office, he decried Jimmy Carter's budget deficits as unacceptable, and then through his reckless spending and tax cuts, he actually doubled the deficit. Republicans have found that they can lie with impunity and many in our uninformed electorate will believe them.
02:05 PM on 01/30/2012
If you think that 4.9 trillion dollars added to our national debt in 8 years of the Bush administration was bad ( which it was ) you must feel absolutely disgusted to witness Obama and the Democrat majority add 4.609,394,830,779.70 to our national debt in ONLY 3 YEARS .How deeper will they dig our tomb in 8years ?
12:30 PM on 01/30/2012
