Uh, the first picture reminds me of Carlin piece where he says "go back to the store and get the rest of the hat" or something similar.

I must confess to feeling somewhat akin to a shoe fetishist when I look at those pictures.

Well, live and learn...

Fug, all of them.

Most of these shoes like they are for fetishists.

Those hairy legs through plastic.....Mmmm.

That'll be fun when the plastic makes you sweat.

these shoes will be only shoes American women will have left to wear once the Paulson bailout starts.

these are the new bailout shoes for our new labor camps to pay off the 2 wars and the wall street Payton place.

Every single one of these shoes are hideous. Are these designers even trying anymore?

From my perspective, Shoes have been the prime indicator of the class warfare.
Thank Goddess I overbought iin the 80's, still wearing them. I have a moccasin kit, and before I sew them together, I am cutting out 3 more pairs from scraps of leather I have!
The sneakers the Podiattrist gave me are the most dangerous pair of shoes I have ever worn!
The rigid "outrigger" plastic soles DON"T GIVE" . In a contest between your shoe sole & a stationary object on the ground, what gives way? Your body! ( yes that includes the stair risers) Haven't worn them since the day I was carrying home a shelf from the recycle. In a battle between my shoe sole, a rock, and the wheel barrow leg, the shelf fell off the wheelbarrow, and I landed inside the shelf.
( Both survived the incident whole)
Today's shoes DISCONNECT ONE FROM THE GROUND. ( not grounded), prevent one from dancing, running, or dreaming...............
The day we see Americans wearing common sense shoes again...............we will vote for the right candidate with out a problem! We will be "in touch " again , our eyes wide open!

I worked at an upscale kitchen firm. When clients came in, we looked at their shoes. The more uncomfortable they looked, the more money they had (and they were usually grumpy).

I've got some black electrical tape and scissors...Anyone want a pair of "designer" shoes? Mine are really inexpensive!
