Yep, when those Republican candidates talk about jobs, economic growth, health and welfare...what comes out is cruelty and disdain for those who demand that government perform. Hard work isn't the Party's strong suit. And when they turn the page in their playbook and criticize Obama, it turns into a conspiratorial wink and nod that translates to: Let's get that uppity black guy out of office. I think that most posters misunderestimated Huck. He is not against toxicity. He is against toxicity directed against his fellow Republicans....you know the monkey doo doo fights you see at the zoo. He wants all that toxicity directed at Obama.

Ignore this distraction. It's all an illusion, the real races are the State and Local races.

Pay attention to the Governor's races, the State Legislator's races. your Town and County races, the local School Board races - these are where we need to concentrate our efforts!

No more Wisconsins!

So Republican political "golden boys" are fighting each other instead of fighting the good GOP fight against women and gay marriage. This toxicity Huckabee talks about has been spewing from Republicans ever since Obama took office. The Party of No has done everything possible to oppose financial reform, tax reform, creating jobs, etc. Instead they have focused on so-called moral issues that are nothing more than smoke-screening their impotence of coming up with some real solutions (more tax breaks for the rich do not qualify) to our economic grievances. The majority of American voters, especially those who have lost their jobs due to the economic downturn, want jobs and a rebounding economy. Apparently the GOP doesn't get it - instead they still keep trying to see how far they can push legislation inside a woman's uterus - that is when they don't devote precious public time to mudslinging each other in the name of Jesus.

The GOP are desperate. Not one educated individual truly believes the craziness and far right views will win the presidency. Looks like the most credible candidates sat out, waiting for 2016. They may have foreseen that Americans would not believe the lies, that President Obama has stopped the decline and mess that Bush did in 8 years. Plus the GOP effort to stop this recovery, and recently they were cheering and hoping for the rise in gas prices, hurting many hard working Americans. That really shows the insensitivity towards Americans for political gain. They will lose in November.

Ironically, the rise in gas prices is primarily the fault of astute and ambitious investors, who hear the war drums against Iran and see a shot at a money grab attempt that leads to a falsely inflated price bubble. The best ways to counter this (I'm willing to believe unintentional and ignorantly motivated) price increase is by finding better ways to need to consume the product less (driving less, combining trips and carpooling) and educating others about how we can individually counter the market by lowering our demand for the product, and encouraging alternatives that get us off the petrol dole even onto stop gaps like electric and hydrogen (showing it's worthwhile rather than "lame" or even laughably "a threat to personal liberty" somehow).

The public's demand for cheaper, cleaner energy DOES have the power to drive the market of innovation, especially when companies have piles of cash and are desperate to keep, grow or maintain eroding customer bases.

Excellent reply, Thank you! If more thought that way, we wouldn't have this conversation about energy.

Huck complains about the toxicity in his own party. Then turns around spews the same toxic crap as the rest of them. What would be the difference if he did run? Absolutely nothing.

But will it stop you from voting for the party’s nominee, or will you campaign for him regardless like a good hypocritical republican?

Of course. We Americans value dogged loyalty over good sense anyday. We call any foolhardy thing "sticking to their guns". As long as someone is consistent, their claims are seen as valid by nature of false "integrity" even if it's someone certifiable like Michele Bachmann, or Sarah Palin.

The hatred is so overwhelming in this Party of hypocrites it's actually killing them . While they try their Damnedest to degrade, demean and demoralize the Pres he seems to be getting stronger . I think rational people see thru this charade of phonies and actually are turned off by the same jargon of hate and disdain which has no relevancy..

TRUTH... The current GOP candidates are MORE VILE than Mike, therefore eliminating him from consideration.

Since that is what the Republican voters want, they'll get just that... a vile, "don't care about those who suffer, it's their own fault" candidate. But don't be fooled. As soon as their convention is over they will be going out in droves, saying, "hey, we were just kidding. Have a sense of humor. We DO have a heart. Vote for us"!!!
