Congrats kid! NOW... THINK... really THINK about what you're going to do with it. The only thing I'll get out of cleaning is a short-lived feeling of accomplishment... LOL

I think that the kid should take the lottery ticket, and see if he can win something: millions of dollars.

Why do Republicans hate America so much?

In the US, that ticket would be worthless. Most tickets must be redeemed within 90-180 days. After that: zilch. No US lottery will accept a ticket after a year, much less 12.

I held onto 8-9 tickets , ranging from $2.00 -$100.00 , then took them to the store . They were over 30 days old ....and no good ! :-(

If that was in the US he wouldn't get anything because he's underage. Lucky you, although it would have been great to see a hard working rent payer that actually needed the money get it.

He's not underage, he's 19.

Ummm... the article states he is 19 yrs old? How is that underage to play the lottery here in the U.S.?
01:06 PM on 03/04/2012
Someone of age can always buy you a ticket; you are still entitled to the winnings. He does have a job and who says he doesn't need the money. Always someone trying to rain on someone else's parade.
