Capitalism, new speak for scum….how can something as basic as capitalism that built this country get so convoluted and corrupted to the point that it is, and will destroy this country…

Maybe Americans are so great after all…maybe Americans have become lazy and greedy and totally self-involved…maybe Americans are the iThing the ends the dream of Americans…

Clowns to the Left ...Jokers to the Right
07:56 PM on 03/17/2012
That's easy...

First : They (US Gov't) issued waivers...a term that is basically saying we have made protection laws BUT you are waived from having to obey them. Basically eveyone (but the little guy) get a waiver...You should read all the waivers given to HC insurers and boy you would love those nuclear plant protection waivers.

Second: Everyone does it no one gets caught mentality. Honesty is SOO Old fashion.

America lost itself and what it stood for YEARS ago. Our SCOTUS confirmed it by allowing Corps to be individuals and the ability to form PACS. Now it's whoever has the most money wins...PERIOD.

Who in their right mind would ever share any confidential information with anyone from Goldman Sachs? They have the morals and ethics of gutter rats. Maybe that's giving them too much credit.

“When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.”

– Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850_), French economist, statesman and author.

Simple as that.

Until all the corruption is prosecuted, this country will never be functional again. A lot of men need to be put in jail. There's simply no moral hazard in these men's minds in regards to cheating, thieving and unbridled greed or hurting people by lust for money.

Oh we're way beyond dumb my friend. We all gave apple over a decades worth of BushCo Tax breaks, which they told us they needed to create jobs here. All the while they were outsourcing their entire manufacturing core and most of their engineering core to china and in the end, they padded their profits to the tune of 100 BILLION dollars instead. The American public actually paid apple to hire Chinese labor with their hard earned tax dollars.

Now, ya'll might not want to hear this, but if Goldie's a stinker, Captain Morgan is a steaming pile.

JP Morgan has always been deft at deflection. When Morgan took out a perfectly respectable insurer with a bucket shop kick by slandering the firm in his press, he managed for all the blame to fall on his silent partner in crime, the Irishman Ryan. Ryan had bought the foundering firm, but sold it to JP when he was under tremendous pressure by the press. JP could be a Catholic bashing basterd and install many an Episcopal in office (Baptists in the south). So, JP got that railroad from a man overly invested in the sound insurer, AND the insurer to boot!

So, I agree, Goldie needs to pay for all those houses she flipped and stop raiding homes, but MORGAN is deeper in the stink than Goldie ever could hope to be. Whenever a shocking financial crime comes up, JPs often holding the bag for the church or the hedge fund and their bucket..

When Corzine's Last Crash came about, don't forget who was making those collateral calls. JP! And the snapshot of the Eurobet market at that time was 60% Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan Chase, 20% Credit Swiss, and the last 20% spread among the goobers. So, pardon me for asking Goldie's pardon, but before we take her head off, we need to take out the bum who taught her how to dance. Jam it, Jamie.

Hmmm wonder if these are some of the genius talent that Goldman just HAD to reward with bonuses else they might go elsewhere. Now I'm wondering if that line of BS was just a way to cover up for the ones you know are corrupt, but they're corrupt in a way that improves the company's bottom line and are loyal so they won't go blowing any whistles any where. I suspect the latter is the better description of these knaves.
