Get real! There is a huge difference between promoting and mandating.

Mormons do not like "mandating." They really fought gay marriage in California.

A Quinnipiac University poll released earlier this week produced a similar result, and showed that adding Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) as vice president on the Republican ticket does little to help the party's chances.

Obama and Vice President Biden would still lead Romney and McDonnell 50 percent to 43 percent. A recent furor over requiring an ultrasound before women can have an abortion might have hurt McDonnell in the polls, as the bill was unpopular with Virginia voters.

Let the Tea baggers have Mitt.

President Obama has widened his lead over the GOP field in the key battleground state of Virginia, according to a survey from conservative polling outlet Rasmussen on Thursday. Obama leads Mitt Romney 51 percent to 42 percent, which is a 3 percent gain on the former Massachusetts governor from the same poll one month ago.

Let Mitt keep talking.

The Energy Efficient Bill for light bulbs was approves in 2006 !!! Please tell Mitt the bill that requires minimum efficiency standards for those bulbs was signed into law by President George W. Bush. Obama has subsequently blocked Republican attempts to repeal the law.

I love the light bulb thing. It never fails to crack me up when some politico goes on a tirade equating energy efficient lights bulbs with some kind of heinous attack on liberty.

Mitt Romney is a LIAR. Too bad that Fox "news" propaganda will never tell their under-informed viewers the truth on anything.
03:17 PM on 03/22/2012
Of course Mitt backed energy efficient bulbs. He is not stupid. If he is elected, he will back energy efficient bulbs again.

Exposing Mitt as serial flip floppers will not negatively impact his base.

Oh the shame.
No red-blooded GOP conservative would be cuaght dead with energy-efficient lightbulbs.
This is conclusive proof that Romney's not a real conservative.

Mitt is just dishonest. He balmes the incandescent lightbulb issue on President Obama when: 1- the flourescent bulbs should be used because they are cheaper and better, 2- It was President G W Bush who made them mandatory, 3- almost every invention has become no longer viable because it has been superceded by an improved version. otherwise the only airplane would be the Wright brothers first one (which itself would not have been built because innovations necessary to create the foundation for it would never have been improved upon -- ad infinitum). We would still be foragers, not even using chipped rock hand tools.

The incandescent bulb is being phased out because a better bulb has been developed, like circuit bul to transistor to printed circuit to intergated circuit to computer chip to ..... let's keep with progress.
