At least it gives us one more chance to say nasty things about Tebow. WhoopEe!

He was the perfect receiver for tbone. He can't run routes any better than tbone throws to spots so he'd just wing it and pray like crazy the mad route runner would stumble into the throwing zone and make the catch. Talk about sandlot football. If he doesn't improve his route running Peyton will take him out behind the water tent and straighten him out. As for the team, I don't think there are many weeping over his departure. His stats during most of the game were horrid. He got bailed out by an excellent defense and a kicker who had the season of his career. Without those factors Denver would have been swept away long before tbone threw up his wounded ducks and let his receivers try to get to them

Mr. Tebow has improved over his first year. I think he will be a ok Q-back if he receives the proper instruction. All I know is that Denver was 1and 7 when he took over and 7 and 1 after he took over 8 and 8 for the season. He also won a playoff game. He must be doing something right.

Denver was 1 and 4 with Orton and 8 and 4 with Tebow. He had horrendous 46.5 completion percentage

At least now the Broncos can concentrate on assembling a team that can go deep into the playoffs.

In a nutshell, Tebow is really sweet likable guy. He just isn't that great a QB - YET. He's young and will get better with experience. As for Manning - this is a guy that all football players should aspire to. He is a wonderful person and a legendary player. This is the guy that made me fall in love with footballl. Don't write him off because of an injury that has been dealt with. I'd rather watch Manning play at 36 than any other QB out there. I have no doubt that Denver will fall in love with him as well. This Indianapolis family will follow Manning wherever he goes. Ersay screwed up big time.

True or false, better left unsaid. Why can't people learn not to make negative personal comments? Just makes them look bad. The old saying, "If you can't say something nice about somebody, do not say anything" may be trite, but it is true.

Dion Caputi is an idiot.... Distraught? The Broncos signed Peyton Manning... If Tebow had stayed it would have been a non-story... Distraught, is that like a 50 cent word to you to sensationalize the comments of a talented reciever who was trying to be politically correct? Your a garbage can writer Dion.... Sad..... I might start a ban Huffington Post Blog because you're really the worst thing I've read on here!!

He needs to learn that discretion is the better part of valor. Keep your head down, play the game and don't let the media turn you into the the latest twitter sensation.

I've never heard of Mr. Thomas, but after hearing direct quotes from him he needs to spend his time learning how to express himself properly in the English language and learn how to speak correctly and not criticize his betters. Whatever some people think of Mr. Tebow, he is eloquent in interviews and would never speak ill of a former team mate. Sour grapes, Mr. Thomas.

Mr Thomas is a good reciever and should get better, now that he has a quarterback who doesn't throw like a goat. When his football years are over, he can spend all the time he want's, learning to speak in a manner that pleases you. I'm sure that he is concerned.
09:36 PM on 04/13/2012
I'm sure Mr. Thomas is not concerned at all with my comments. So why are you? So sorry that I expect people in a public forum where they are able to express their opinions to America to be able to speak and write English properly. Glad to see that you can at least form a sentence even if you refuse to honor the opinions of others. Tim Tebow bless you too, even if I do not.

He's not a teacher, commentator, reporter, or any other job that requires proper grammar and syntax. His job is to be an extraordinary athlete, just like all of the other NFl players.

But it is amusing to see how you (and some of the other posters) show such concern about his lack of oratory excellence.

They would prefer not to talk about Tim Tebow's quarterback deficiencies

There was a lot of attention surrounding Tebow. No mistake about that. It overwhelmed the team and ultimately paid dividends when "all the pieces fell into place" for Tim to win games. Key injuries to the opposing team and a game plan that was more like street football more than anything.

Tebow has talent - much of which need to be honed, polished (okay - a lot of polish) and that just comes with experience. The problem is that Tebow also became a key distraction on the team and I admire Thomas for coming out and saying almost as such.

Tim is a work in progress and while his time in Denver may be through - I do hope that he's able to have success in New York or for a team that can utilize his talents.

It's not too surprising a receiver isn't sad to see him go. When your QB completes about 10 passes on a good day, a receiver isn't going to get many opportunities.
