Jim, you are one naive creep! If Nugent had previously invited YOU and not Obama to suck on the barrel of his gun, you'd know what he meant now.

The more these people remark about this "vile, evil, America-hating" Obama administration, the more I am convinced Obama is not only the best choice, but the only choice. The fanaticism that overtook the GOP, spoken by the Nugent-like and endorsed by the Inholfe-like is terrifying. For such extremism to not only exist in this nation, but be representative and so close to acquisition of leadership power reflects that enough Americans are a violent and dangerous people to be a worrisome concern for peace-loving people everywhere.

I defy anyone to find a Democrat politician or celebrity who spoke before a large group like the NRA and advocated via a veiled threat, violence against a sitting President. I have voted since 1960 and cannot remember this level of hatred and threatening rhetoric being bantered around almost a daily basis against any of the gentlemen who have had the honor of being the President of the United States.

and then being lauded by hannity and co. for being a patiotic american...its absurd, this kind of thing would never be tolerated and i have no idea why democrats put up with it, they should be dragging any republican who associates with nugent through the mud. it might help to galvanize their base, but who cares?

instead of talking about jobs These so called leaders on the right are using tactic out of pre world war 2 Nazi play books. American don't fall for it. It not the government that is failing it is us the voters that are failing.

"It(s) not the government that is failing it is us the voters that are failing." - Boom, nail on the head of the proverbial nail. Apathy and media are the culprits. Either people don't care or they let the media think for them. Thanks for being awake...

Imo, Kennedy calling Inhofe guilty of "treason" goes too far, but saying that he prostitutes himself for big oil appears accurate.

His five biggest donors are big oil and he's anti-environmental: "global warming/climate change is a hoax." To believe he's not beholden (prostituting himself) to big oil is naive in the extreme.

What's worrying is that Sen. Inhofe is alleging that he is unable to interpret the underlying meaning of Nugent's statement. If this is true Senator, please explain why your constituents should be confident that you can interpret the underlying meaning of the complicated legislation brought before the Senate.

What is the average IQ in Oklahoma?

Is it so low that corporate toads like Inhofe look like viable candidates????

How do these guys get past the voters????

Of course the GOP senator sees nothing wrong with what Nugent said.
Nugent's comments were not directed against a republican.

Not concerning? What if a liberal said the same about you? You would have everybody involved including the cleaners wiping up the brown and yellow stains under your feet.
