From smelly campaign planes to smelly tourists, eh?

I wonder if he likes arugula.

Those are the smelly people for whom you serve, Sir.

Seriously, can they please replace Harry in the Senate Leadership role? He's about as effective as a turnip.

Harry should have listened to his staff. I knew people would go "crazy" over these comments. Look at what he said; he was speaking to the fact that air conditioning will make visitors more comfortable and that there will be a place for visitors to freshen up. We all seem to be "going off the deep end" lately. This time, I didn't go off the deep end; may be at some other time, I will, but some people are going off the deep end all the time.

I knew Harry forgot where he came from but this is over the top.

He should offer an apology and step down.

Harry should have listened to his staff. I knew that people would go "crazy" over his comment. Look at what he said; it's more about the air conditioning and the fact that visitors will be more comfortable, as well as have the chance to freshen up. We are all going off the "deep end" these days. I didn't go off this time; maybe next time, though, but some people are going off all the time.

Niiiiiice, Harry...forget about the fact that the American tourists are paying your salary and learning about their government--and possibly teaching their children, the future of our country--you have to complain about the smell.

There's been a stench coming out of Washington for quite a long time now and it's pretty hard to simply blame the tourists. The next time you want to vote to raise the salaries of the House and Senate, I think the American people should get to vote on it, so we can remember this touching moment.

Why do you suppose Congress has such a low approval rating? Many feel that they are out of touch with the very people they are supposed to represent. Thank you Harry, for making that argument with such eloquence.

Hey Harry, that's the smell of the hard working American. Not elites born with a silver spoon in their mouths who grunt orders all day long to others to do the real work. Sheeshe :(

I'll take BO any day, over the smell of elitism.
02:39 PM on 12/02/2008
This is yet another reason to refer to President Elect Barack Hussein Obama as BHO. Thanks, Larkinvos.
2 others. Older people remember the old Lifeboy Soap ads & radio commercials which called body odor, aka sweat stink, as BO. Lifeboy Soap claimed that washing regularly with Lifeboy Soap would prevent BO. Lifeboy Soap had a very strong distinctive smell. If you used Lifeboy Soap regularly-people could smell it a mile away. Lifeboy's odor covered the smell of sweat with its distinct strong odor.
Please to Obama as BHO 4 us alte cockers.

This is so hilarious. This guy does not talk like a politician. All I want to know is whether the Visitors Center has shower stalls? And bathrooms?

The Whole Country can smell your fear, Reid.
