06:28 PM on 05/04/2012
See Constitution. It prohibits UNREASONABLE searches and siezures.

Might big area, "unreasonable" covers.

And are there groups out there trying to kill Americans?

You better believe it.

What have you done that your Government thinks you to be suspect of...
06:25 PM on 05/04/2012
Its not that, the government is controlled by massive multinational corporations so they will start using the wiretaps to find out what products you want and send you adds in the mail. The horror!

Why a photo of George "two shoes" Bush to accompany this article on wiretapping? Wiretapping has been accelerated under Obama. Incidentally Obama campaign against Bush's domestic spying policies.

Your vote was not necessarily a mistake, you were just betrayed. Continue voting but become more aware and view with scepticism what is said by ALL politicians. Voters are important to our country. And I say this whether or not you and I have the same political views. You owe it to yourself, your family, friends and your country to become political savvy enough to make an intelligent decision. Not an emotional or party line decision but an intelligent decision.

Bush signed FISA into law. You'd have to read the story to learn what FISA does.

Not only are wiretaps up, but so are the number of assassinations via drones. In fact they include American citizens assassinated via drones without benefit of a trial. Hope and change, indeed.

Wiretaps are way up under BO but yet this rag shows a picture of Bush. BO had 3 + years to stop this or slow it down and didn't he increased it but the libs still kiss his a $$. Maybe they should pull their heads out of theirs.

Theoretically, as long as they are getting warrants from a court this is, again I say, theoretically OK.

I wonder if there is any provision that provides for the eventual disclosure of these warrants?

Since federal courts are completely subservient to the idea of National Security...I would say probably not...

The number of wiretappings (approved and unapproved by a judge), and many more invasions of privacy of American citizens has quite literally skyrocketed under AH Holder. President Obama approves of Holders' actions, he has stated as much. So where does that leave us? With a president and an AG that Dick Cheney has got to be proud of!

Yes we can!
06:30 PM on 05/04/2012
If it has been approved by a judge it is NOT an invasion of privacy. See the Constitution.
