Gee, seems like Dems have been trying to make us healthier and happier for a century but the GOP just don't care enough about Americans to bother. And when they do do something it's to make corporations healthier. Bush Medicare D was just a election year gift, he had no way to pay for it. It's estimated it has cost us $400 billion.

well my goodness you certainly could not have expected him to raise taxes on the job creators because the unemployment rates would have skyrocketed..oh wait! WHAT?????

Our cost was $400 billion... How much did the corporations profit from that $400 billion? 20% would be fair. Maybe our tax code should be changed to flat tax rate of how much profit is made. If you make 20% profit, you pay 20% tax, if you make 100% profit, maybe you should quit screwing the consumers...
