That's funny. You call him "the Messiah"; but, the American people call him Mr. President. Some people call themselves patriotic Americans but refuse to accept the will of the American people. I sure cannot find patriotic American in that.

Healthcare Hypocrites by Jim Hightower on Creators.com - A Syndicate Of Talent

"How do you spell "hypocrisy"?

Try this: "H-Y-P-O-C-O-N-G-R-E-S-S." The hypocongress consists of those Republicans and Blue Dog Democrats who have risen up on their hind legs in recent weeks to snarl and howl at any mention of a government role in meeting America's health care needs. "Socialism," they bark — we won't allow Barack Obama and the liberals to create a Washington-run, big-government intrusion into the hallowed private market. Sen. Jim DeMint, a South Carolina Republican, even pledged to fight so ferociously that the health care battle would be Obama's "Waterloo."

What a stand-up guy for free enterprise! What an ideologically correct appeal to laissez-faire principle! And, let me add, what a crock!

What these bellicose market-purists hope you don't discover is that they are closet
socialists. As members of the congressional elite, they and their families are governmentally blessed with their very own gold-plated, taxpayer-financed, Washington-run health care system. And, they loooove it.

Theirs is such an effective system that not a single member of the hypocongress has been willing to give it up — even though they surely realize the political peril of being exposed as rank hypocrites for enjoying the very program they so adamantly reject for you..."

That's the thing about leadership....it requires all of those entrusted with serving the needs of their constituents to contribute to a shared goal of success for the country. One man having big ideas that can be blocked and stymied by obstinent opposition is kryptonite to effective leadership. It's the Republicans' duty to seek agreement on policies that encourage job growth and economic resurgence as much as the Democrats.

I hope the attorneys ask the SC judges whether they have access to healthcare paid by us - lowly workers. Infact the judges, congressmen, the rich Rommenys have access to the nest care - only fools like us dont and many of us fools dtill vote for the goppers ...How sad .. yeah shall reap yeah sow . Go ahead elect the goppers & get ready for pain and more pain. That is the only thing GOP delivers time after time. Best wishes.

Conservatives are deluding themselves if they think that millions and millions of Americans are going to roll over and die so that they don't have to pay another dime in taxes. In November, I'm confident that most people will not vote for a party that tries to deny health care to more than 50 million people. I'm also confident that people are not going to re-elect legislators that support the Ryan plan. People are not going to vote for any politician that dares to tear down the social safety net. We didn't work and pay into the system all our lives just so conservatives working on behalf of the 1% can balance the budget on the backs of the 99%. I know conservative voters are mindless and self-serving, but most Americans want health care, Medicare and Social Security and will not vote Republican this fall. Forget the polls - count the votes - all of them!!!

Americans overwhelmingly want affordable health care reform. Don't you?

With regard to the law, it is far from perfect but it helps millions of Americans get care. It does see some cost savings. I believe there is only one good choice which is single payer. We all will need health care in our future and few of us can afford to pay for it on our own. There is no country in a better position to offer health care to every citizen. We just need to find the way to make it as affordable as possible. And, this law certainly did not do that. However, until the better solution is proposed and passed this should be the law of the land and I think if you drill down the number of American's who want the law gone as you put it, it will be far less. But, you are encouraged to provide sources if you disagree.

For Republicans, economic recovery is a complete failure. They don't want anyone undoing all the work they did causing the recession in the first place.

Overturning Obamacare is a huge success to Republicans because every American who goes bankrupt to pay a loved one's hospital bills is one step closer to their goal of financial ruin for all except the privileged few. There's even another reward for Republicans in overturning Obamacare. All of the insurance companies that were hiring staff to handle the anticipated increase in business will now have to lay off workers when the extra business falls through.

The uptick in the unemployment rate will do the Republicans work for them so they can remain available to drum up more of the usual conjecture they love to fabricate.

Government has become too big for its britches
02:23 PM on 06/24/2012
JMKeynes...their are 15 popular, bi-partisan job bills passed by the house, waiting for Sen. Reid to to bring to the Senate for debate and vote. Many of the bills are pro-business, but Sen. Reid knows if they get passed and signed into law, the Republican will get credit. Sen.Reid would rather have our nation dip into a second recession before letting the house get favorable press concerning jobs. Certain parts of the PPACA will not be abandoned. The Republicans are on record that they want to keep the "children remain on parents policy to age 26", and are willing to allow certain pre-existing conditions coverage, due to no fault of the individual. If you have been a life long smoker and develop lung cancer, "sorry for your luck". Why should tax-payers pay for your poor choice. If you are drunk driving and get involved in a accident paralyzing you, again your stupid actions shouldn't be put on the backs of hard working tax-payers. Lastly, the Republican's (who by the way, I freely admit are not blameless), do not have to fabricate anything. Pres. Obama policies speak for themselves.
He actually said his "Green energy polices" may necessarily sky-rocket energy prices", he said he was going to destroy the coal industry forcing America to develop clean energy. Can you say "Solandra Scandal".. And just recently infused at least 800,000 possible illegal aliens into the job market. So, JMKeynes, you stand corrected.
