"You Know Well How To Kill"
There are a few million dead Armenians who could say the same thing about the Turks.

Nothing. Armenia has a very strong lobby in the USA. In the mean time their country is going down the drain.

"The Turks"? Are you kidding me? Turkey is not responsible for an occupation and is not the heavy enforcer of an apartheid regime. Israel is. Should a country not speak up because of it's very distant past? Should Germans not feel disgusted when a new genocide occurs? Americans have plenty of skeletons in their closet as well, and don't get me started on western Europe!

My sympathies lie with the Turk on this one. It is hard to sit still while Peres lectures you on "civilization" when you know the Israelis just dropped a bomb on an orphanage.

I know a large number of Armenians who would be more than glad to provide proof of what Turkey did in 1915.
Want me to ask them ?

The day the Turkish govt admits to it's past and the mass genocide of 1.2 million Armenians they can take the high road.

The vast majority of those killed were Hamas terrorists, which was totally justified. The noncombatants were largely killed because Hamas chose to endanger them by firing their rockets from their immediate vicinity.

the entire panel should have walked and left mr. peres to blather to himself.

Spanish officials have a lot of temerity considering their role in the bombing of Belgrade in 1999 killing hundreds of civilians.

Spain was part of NATO forces, and the Serbs k i l l ed tens of thousands of Kosovars and Bosians, had mass grave sites and concentration camps where they tortured and starved young males, and were conducting ethnic cleansing much like I s r ael is doing now.

The Turks are pretty familiar with how to kill - just ask the 1.5 million Armenians the Turks slaughtered.

The Turks don't have a pristine past; but that is not an excuse to justify this recent m a s s a c r e and the d e a t h s of over 400 children.

The deaths of innocent children cannot be justified. Many women and children were killed in the Armenian genocide. My father in-law only lived because a neighbour hid him however he lost both his parents. Why is it that Turkey gets a pass when the whole world knows this happened.

That title is misleading. PM Erdogan did not "attack" Peres. He was upset that Peres was distorting the truth and pissed off by the moderator when he was cut off. PM Erdogan said that IDF killed women and children in Gaza after Peres spent 30 minutes trying to justify the killing of over 1000 Palestinians. PM Erdogan is an honorable and respected PM in Turkey and in international countries.
