It's odd that those who promote the idea of evolution don't think anything would every change naturally, without any human influence. Quite the paradox.

Odd that those who:

1) do not understand that the rapid acceleration of change is unprecedented
2) has been happening for less than 200 years

Most people probably have difficulty understanding why coral reefs matter, and might not read all the way to the end of the story to find out... I'd suggest putting the part about why this matters at the top so those readers don't check out before they get to the important part.
