Romneys lawn comment is funny, and pretty believable since good ol mitt would hire his own family member to work for minimum wage on his lawn at one of this mansion...obama being a cousin of a al qaeda member is as believable as mitt romney being the savior of the economy and the job creator...unbelieveable...just thought id explain that to you real quick in case you were confused on who is the laughing stock of politics in the US...

Nah. If he was a relative of Obama he wouldn't have job. Why bother?

Obama's first big lie "Im going to close Guitmo". An amateur at the helm!
02:15 PM on 07/11/2012
That sounded good in theory, but people in the U.S. freaked out when Obama suggested they would be transferred to U.S. prisons with the prospect of some of them eventually being released out into the general population.

Obama tried closing Guantanamo, but his opposition didn't want the detainees to be brought to NY and other US prisons. Check it out, so before we blame, we should see if any effort was made by him to close Gitmo. I don't consider that a broken promise. Many promises are made during campaigns, but the reality of the office plus one's political opponents often make it impossible to accomplish all of a president's objectives. You can call him an amateur, it's your privilege, but it's far from the truth.

So they let him out & he will now continue to try & blow us up. Whoever agreed to relasae him should be put in his place.

Should have took him half way on a ship then let him walk the rest.

I agree if he actually was guilty. But what should be done to the so many Christian Priests who molest little children and ruin their lives forever. Aren't these molesters terrorists? Shouldn’t we do worse to them than these alleged terrorists?

Imagine, 10 years in prison for cooking falafal. I was a cook for a guy who didn't pay business tax on the restarant he owned, does that make me guilty of tax evasion?

Did he train terrorists to kill innocent people? Ignorant comment.

your comment is an ignorant comment.....if britain and france invaded the US tomorrow and took over, all of us would be considered terrorists...the united state colonies were literally called "terrorists" before the revolution, so....learn a little history, it wont hurt, it can only help...reason i say this is you are a terrorist only if the winning side decideds to label you a terrorist....these terrorists the US is fighting now were in the white house in the 80's with Ronald Reagan, working together on defeating the russians in the middle east...

Not so much. Humans deserve civil rights, not just Americans. Let me guess, you are terrified of these primative pawns in the war to take as much of our tax money in the manufacture of weapons for our "defense and the protection of our Way Of Life"?

"The suspension was contingent on a number of conditions, including that Al-Qosi not engage in "hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners."

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I wonder if he confessed just to get the heck out of there (to stop the possible waterboarding, get the bag off his head, and see his family), and I doubt if the U.S. can babysit him for the rest of his life to make sure he complies with the conditions of his release.

Come on guys. he was a cook, a cook!. Mind you...Al-Qaeda? He was never a threat. Did he plan to blow up New York with a pancake. NO. He was a cook. If the shoe was on the other foot.?....
Be honist. What would we do. If one of our guys was held by Al-Qauda for 14 years + eight. ???

He's a non threat and it probably cost more to hold him then set him free...

He was convicted, therefore he was a threat. Did you interrogate him? Do you know anything about his case? Didn't think so.

If terror is a tactic, I fail to see how creating more enemies is a proper strategy to end terrorism.

Unless of course the idea is to have a war with no end. The evidence seems to support that hypothesis.
