Pretty cool, but I prefer the Mister Rogers "Garden of your mind" remix.

What would our future 7th generation think of us?

Lovely man. Died way too young, but artists often die prematurely, having exposed themselves repeatedly to toxic chemicals and carcinogens -- paint thinner, mineral spirits, acetone, aerosols, etc. -- while painting and such.

The man had such a silky voice and demeanor, he also made EVERYTHING he did look so easy, and made you feel you could EASILY do the same...

Is it too late to put Bob in for president...he's got my vote...something Obamney will never see...

Excellent video, he was such a great guy and gave a lot of JOY in the painting world he created. You are missed Bob.

I must admit I would watch Ross' program faithfully, just to watch him whip one of those suckers out in 25 minutes flat. He was perhaps the greatest non-artist artist of our time, with the possible exception of Thomas Kinkaid. But he had found joy in his work -- so may we all -- and the joy was at times infectious. We do miss you, sir.

Maybe the work wasn't the art.

Yes, even if you think the paintings aren't art, the show itself was.

Bob Ross was a true gentleman and a truly gentle man. Watching and listening to him, I was convinced I could paint like him if I gave it a go. What a beautiful, lovely soul!

You could pay a therapist $300.00 an hour and not get half of what video gives you in 4, free, minutes.

That was inciteful. And true.

We used to watch Bob all the time when we were in college. Can anyone be in a bad mood or angry after watching Bob for a few? His good vibes were always contagious!

Loved Bob Ross when I was a kid. Even now, I'll watch his vids to relax me. The guy could have been a psychiatist or hypnotist.

What would our future 7th generation think of us?

Somewhat unsettling. As a painting major in college, I painted a cemetery from the vantage point of being below-ground, with the ground being transparent and thus allowing the viewer to see the buried coffins beneath the trees, with the tree roots snaking through the ground, entwining and embracing the coffins. However, I never showed any bodies, and the subjects remained anonymous, coming totally from my imagination.
