I predict the American People will not buy another Pailin-2 nor will they buy yet another Republican Pig With Lipstick and Romney will Lose in 2012! Next!

Morning Joe Scarborough suffers from some called "Popular Schizophrenia."

This disease is characterized by a willingness to say anything in order to be popular.

He feels obligated to his father and his church to run for President. He was the chosen one early on by the church, and like W followed in Daddys footsteps. He should've paid more attention to his Dad as he was a true politican, not a Ken doll afraid to say the wrong thing.

jesocr, I'm not sure whether Romney feels obligated, but I do believe he wants to add the title 'President' to his name before he leaves the political scene. In fact, I believe that he initiated the Healthcare Reform in MA believing it would be his stepping stone to the Oval Office and never did he think it would be so mightily rejected by his own party. I don't think he cared one bit about the people of MA having health care, he just wanted to be the architect of a program that could give him some credibility to run for the Leader of USA. I also don't believe he cares that much about making changes in how the country is lead or run and that he would be a non performing Prez if there is such a thing. He's certainly not going to champion women, that's against his church leanings, he isn't going to erase poverty, he and church believe you must work, work, work if you want to pull yourself up by the bootstraps (never mind that many of them inheirited). He'a a complex individual with very little emotion showing other than a temper.

Joe won't ever fit in because he can't get past the past. He rarely does a show that he doesn't mention "how it was when I was in office, how it was when Clinton/Reagan, etc" as if any of that is very important today. He makes comparisons that are now, with out technological age and global world so outdated that they are apples to oranges, yet he demeans Romney and snickers that Romney has chosen people who are not savvy to what's going on today and still worried about the Soviet Union. He's past his expiration date.

The only people LAMER than joe, are the people he surrounds himself with!
02:13 PM on 07/31/2012
Joe is not lame - on the contrary he's acquainted with the politics of the day. Lame are people like you who don't like the way your obvious contender to Presidency is robme behaves and Joe just points out just how obnoxious robme is and how unable to handle a job like the presidency. Go watch Fox news - those 3 stooges will say what you want to hear.

Scarborough will knock Romney any chance he gets. He is so jealous of a man who is rich with a wonderful family and has the chance to be president of the United States. It means nothing to jealous joe that we are in horrific debt with a totally divided country due to policies which pit American against American by obama . But he twists Romneys words for two hours and laughs and shakes his head because he is scared Romney could win.

When refering to Mittens you "Truth Deniers" like to throw that word "Jealous" around...don't you?... Pity would be more relevant.

Save America. Vote a republican out of office.
01:48 PM on 07/31/2012
You obviously don['t watch the show. Joe has been solidly backing Romney for months even when he was clearly wrong, making excuses for him and all that. Scarborough seems to be a republican who can see the issue from both sides of the aisle - I know some conservatives hate those kind of republicans, but we need more of them - and a few more like minded democrats as well.
01:03 PM on 07/31/2012
Mitt and his campaign team are the NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME players of this election.

Joe its obvious GWB and Obama had more politics in their bones than you..they both played on the big stage while you was in the little leauge of the house..GWB one a state wide election as a Gov and Obama as a Sen and they both have a title you would never have..President..While I am know GWB fan, he was far better campaigner that Mitt the Stiff Romney! Obama has politics in his bones and that is why the GOP is looking crazy; they have no answers!
12:34 PM on 07/31/2012
It's funny how Joe always likes to draw a moral equivalence between conservatives and liberals when conservatives screw up. He reaches deep into his political history book for obscure references that are rarely accurate to show how the 'bumbling, inept, & misguided' democrats are just as bad as the republicans. I guess it's his version of 'that's what you are, but what am I?’

This will be, at least, the second time that he’s said the administration has bungled the relationship with Britain. If the relationship with Britain is so bad then why did the British Parliament invite the POTUS to speak at Westminster Abbey? As the POTUS pointed out during his address to Parliament...only Churchill, the pope, and Nelson Mandela had been granted such a privilege. That doesn't sound like a broken relationship to me.

Gaff Romney, he put the E in Elitist. He has no idea what he's doing or what it's like to be a 99%er. .

From all the comments I think they are wondering the same thing. Well maybe not the squawking parrot Liz Cheney.
04:25 PM on 08/01/2012
You are right. They had better candidates but they didn't want to take on an incumbent President. I think those who refused to run did their party a disservice because If Obama wins, there will be a recovery by 2016 making it easier for Hillary or whomever the Dems. nominate
