Barack Obama is not a disappointment to me. Nor should he be to the state of Florida, whose unemployment rate has dropped to 8.6% from a high of 11.1%. We could be doing even better if the state had agreed to the high speed rail project and if Congress would pass the President's Jobs bill.

I just saw Romney speak with his little chart of all the president's failures. The problem is that he only looks at a portion of history. Housing values did not go down because of President Obama. Most people with functioning brains know that. Romney is the very worst liar I have seen in some time. He does it with pleasure. He likes it. Just like he just loves firing people.

Mitt Romney should ask his buddy, Republican Governor Rick Scott, why he turned down so much stimulus money. Several other States are benefiting and recovering much faster due to Rick Scott's stupidity.

I didn't realize Obama was the governor of Florida. Wouldn't it be the governor who is most responsible for Florida's economy?

We The People or We The Corporations?

Yes, but the president gets credit and blame for the national situation, which is effected by the state situation. You can't give all the blame to the president for losses and then give all the credit to governors for the gains. it cuts both ways.

RICK SCOTT SENT THE MONEY BACK TO WASHINGTON and refuse take money fron the PRESIDENT, that would have put millions of people to work.

We guess ROMNEY DON'T know is RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ECONOMY, ROMNEY should know that, forgot he failed as a GOVERNOR, and LOST JOBS.

Its not the Presidents job to "handle" the Florida economy.
Thats the job of the Governor of that state.

Romney needs a few lessons on Governmemt. you cant argue states rights and then slam the President for a states economy. Mitt seems to create whatever "reality" he needs at the time.

Most people just call what Mitt does "Lying"

Charlie Crist took federal aid and helped the state. Slick Rick refused and the economic growth went stagnant. Now I know there are many Democrats disappointed in President Obama. But living here in Florida I can tell you that there is not a bigger disappointed group of people than those who voted for Rick Scott.

So, Scott says the economy is improving in Florida, and Rominee gets upset because it goes against his talking points? Poor Rominee...can't talk about your 25 yr career at Bain, can't talk about your tenure as governor because of Romneycare, can't talk about the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics because that would prove YOU didn't 'build that' without taxpayer bailouts, can't talk about the economy, since your only claim to fame was that you created wealth for yourself, not jobs for the country. Can't talk about your tax returns, your offshoring, or your outsourcing. Can't talk about your foreign policy experience, since that would entail you to start your 'Apologize for Mittens Tour'. Can't talk about your military experience, since you were busy 'ministering' the French instead of the Vietnamese. Can't talk about your success without sounding like a pompous arrogant ignoranus. Geez, Mittens, Boehner was right. Americans will 'not fall in love' with you. Heck, most Americans can't even LIKE you, or your pandering ways. OBAMA/BIDEN 2012....because this country cannot afford to go 0 for 3 by electing yet another 'successful businessman' like Hoover of GWB.

Yes, Mr Romney, unemployment is still way to high. The GOP mandate is to keep the Federal government out of state's affairs. So if that's the case, what are your plans to lower unemployment, without Federal government interference? Just askin
