Condoleezza Rice? Does it mean we'll be hearing from the REST of the White House Iraq Group? ...the administration marketing arm whose job it was in August of 2002 to brand the 2003 invasion of Iraq, to pass off as true the falsified evidence, fabricated intelligence, as fear-mongering over totally BOGUS WMD... those mythological weapons that Scott Ritter, the NIE, IAEA, and REPEATED teams of inspectors  Read More...

'And Rice, an academic who was President George W. Bush's national security adviser and later secretary of state, could appeal to working women and those who put the United States' security as a top concern."

Really??? This comment made about a woman that IGNORED a Presidential Daily Memo dated August 6, 2011 titled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike Within U.S."??? This comment made about a woman that CARRIED IN HER BRIEF CASE this very same memo, as she ran and hid in an "undisclosed location" on September 11. 2011??

Wow...I am flaburgasted even more at how STUPID the Republican party really thinks Americans are.

He is your keynote speaker because he is the next clown out of the car for the 2016 presidential nominee. He will be if his giant body stays well enough that he lives that long.

The GOP had asked the president, he was busy trying to balance the nations check book, cant seem to do it without pelosi or reed. I do agree that Mitt should give his tax returns, so should all elected officals, including pelosi and reed. Isnt Bill Clinton speaking at the Dem's convention, now if you want to throw stones at speakers where does the line form for Clinton

So Sarah Palin is not on the convention speakers list. Does that mean she's in the running for Romney VP selection? What a great choice Sarah would make. After all she's got invaluable experience of being on a losing ticket.

I know, and Joe Biden the White House Court jester is a great pick..The Obama/Biden ticket is now known as "Dumb and Dumber"

Ron Paul deserved a key note address at this convention. Their refusal to allow him to speak upsets me but is not surprising. They are so concerned that he will go "off message" that no one will allow him to speak. That is the real story here, not the lack of either Bush.

You mean the republicans don't want their last "powerful and famous" leader to speak for them? What gives with the embarrassment? He was "powerful and famous" ... isn't that enough?

Typically a past president does NOT speak at the national convention. They are officially retired and receive a government pension plan and life-time medical care at military veterans hospitals. However, word on the street is BILL CLINTON will deliver for DEMS - reigniting the passion of the COME BACK KID.

I predict NO ONE will mention the legacy of Bush/Cheney or even mention their names. As the worst "president' ever, I think Cheney should be mentioned. Perhaps they will show a pic of "awol" reading "my pet goat"? I don't watch TV but it might be fun to see these war mongers in action. Governor Martinez has crippled the movie business in New Mexico while embracing the oil and gas industry that elected her. She is for more pollution, less health care and more tax breaks for the oil and gas industry as they are hardly making any money. Ha!

Hmmm....

There are four living Republican presidents and vice presidents. None are speaking at the Republican National Convention.

There are three living Republican Speakers of the House of Representatives, including the current one. None are speaking at the Republican National Convention.

There are four living Republican Senate Majority Leaders, including one presidential candidate. None are speaking at the Republican National Convention.

The GOP's most recent candidate for vice president is not speaking at the Republican convention.

I don't know what all this means. I just find it curious.
