Source? Biden is actually pretty well know for his honesty--it even gets him trouble. He is also pretty well known for NOT profitting on his senatorial position.

Yeah really....source please? "Pretty well known"... I read 10 newspapers a day and have never seen any writing on this. Please elaborate. I'll wait for you to collect your thoughts.

THIS IS WHAT CONGRESS BEEN DOING, INSTEAD OF TAKING CARE OF AMERICA. tAKE AN INFORMED LOOK AT ALL OF THEM BEFORE YOU VOTE

You are a Professor of Economics, and this is your big concern? Not the 8.3% unemployment, not the nearly $16 trillion in debt that we can never even hope to pay back, not the worst recovery in this nations modern history, not the fact that entitlement programs alone are costing taxpayers $2 trillion per year and growing while the tax base is shrinking? Why don't you put your degree to some use and give our glorious leader some advice on how to build a strong economy instead of worrying about a non-issue, at least when it comes to the tens of millions of dollars the likes of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have earned in much the same manner. It's funny how these things only become an "issue of great concern" when an opportunity to attack an individual the an (R) next to his or her name presents itself. We see right through you people.

This needs to be the number one story right now.

And hopefully it will be.

I couldn't agree more. If the allegation that Ryan's pattern of trading was based on his congressional information is false, then Brad Delong should be crucified for irresponsible speculation and shoddy analysis that pollute our political discourse; one would expect much more from a professor at UCB.

On the other hand, if Delong is correct, then Ryan decidedly fails the test of character and should never be elected. Certain jobs do not require a sterling character. VP of the USA is not one of them.

I don't care if my dentist is a womanizer or a scrooge as long as he knows his craft. I do care that mychild's teacher displays integrity and generosity as an example for children regardless what subject the teacher teaches.

A self serving person who has deep knowledge and expertise in finance can be a good advisor, staff, aide... but should never be in the leadership position.

There is no way that what he did passes any smell test . . . he is as dirty as Romney. Not fit for office. Either one of them.
