HuffPost continues to publish the same "sob" stories over and over. Here is a list of American Stories that DONT get told:

1)Roberto Salamanca, 20, an illegal alien living in Flagstaff, Arizona, was found guilty of manslaughter in the August, 2011 hit-and-run death of 20-year-old Kyle Wible, also of Flagstaff.

2)Carlos Viveros-Colorado, 51, an illegal alien from Mexico, was arrested and charged with criminal vehicular homicide for causing a July 5, 2012 fatal accident in St. Paul, Minnesota.

3)Alfonso Valdez-Olea, an illegal alien from Mexico, was identified by authorities as the person responsible for the May 28, 2012 death of 17-year-old Olivia Monet Wilson of Mesa, Arizona. Police believe Valdez-Olea was intoxicated when he drove the wrong way on Interstate 17 and crashed head-on into Wilson's car, killing the high school student and injuring her teenage passenger. Valdez-Olea also died as a result of the crash.

4)Conviction Update: Illegal alien gang member Pedro Espinosa, 23 has been convicted of first-degree murder on May 9, 2012. Espinosa had been arrested for the murder of Jamiel Shaw, 17, who was killed in an unprovoked March 2, 2008 attack. Shaw was brutally murdered three houses down from his family home in Los Angeles.

Thanks for posting all of this stuff. Bottom line is that they "all" need to be deported. We already have enough problems in our country without adding to them.

Even when children join their deported parents in order to keep the family together, it can be a struggle to adjust. In many cases they don't speak the language and fall behind at school. Often standards of living are much poorer than what they were accustomed to.

Funny. So its ok to deprive American children....REAL American children whose parents parents were born here....of their eductation by increasing their class sizes, firing Teachers to hire ESL "teachers"? thats ok though.

It is not our obligation. They are illegally in the country and should have thought about this before having children.

Its funny that none of these "parents" mention the children they left behind to SNEAK across the border. The children that they send money home to. No one EVER mentions them.

My first clue before I begin to feel 'heartless' is that the mother is not back because she had no intention to do the right thing showing that her children are not her first priority...no pity for Rony and others that continue to not follow procedure

About 22 million childen in the United States are being raised by a single parent. (That's one in four children.) The U.S. born children of deported mothers or fathers make up a very tiny percent of the overall total. The United States has about 400,540 children in foster homes, Of these, only about 5,100 U.S. are citizen children whose parents have been deported. Virtually all are rejoined with their parents as soon as deporation proceedings are complerte.

Illegal "mothers" should be applying for citizenship..... Just like all legal immigrants have done. This would allow them to become citizens and stay in this country.
If you are illegal then you must pay the consequences when you are caught.

No sympathy here............
02:01 PM on 08/27/2012
The thing is that obtaining permanent residency --which you need before being allowed to petition for citizenship-- on your own (meaning without the sponsorship of an employer or spouse/family) is nearly impossible for the average person, and then if the person has been in the country illegally for any period of time, that complicates matters more. Yes, I know, they shouldn't have come here if they didn't have the permission to do so. It's true, but most of this people were in desperate circumstances and wanted a chance at the American Dream. I don't agree with illegal immigration and think there should be consequences or penalties to deter it, but it's a very complex issue, with many facets that people need to understand not only to find better ways to address it, but also to review immigration policy and relationships with countries from where we get large numbers of immigrants.

I agree with your statment D Med
02:44 PM on 08/27/2012
"wanted a chance at the American Dream" Having a chance at the American Dream is fine if they come here "legally." If they insist on coming here "illegally," then they "must" suffer the consequences of deportation.

"Illegal mothers should be applying for citizenship" No. They broke the law. Law breakers deserve nothing. Why in the world should we reward them for breaking the law?? Being a US citizen means that you show respect for this country. These people showed "no" respect when they came here illegally. That's why they do "not" deserve to be rewarded. If they don't like it, then tough. Let the children GET OUT OF HERE and go home to the mothers and/or fathers. In that way, the families won't be destroyed.

Send the kids back with their parents. When they turn 18 years old they can then choose to come back to the US. ( Duel Citizen) I have two(2) kids one is a dual citizen US/Korea and the other is US/German.

In reference to the fact that persons born on US soil are considered automatic citizens at present, I think we get to a see a little honesty slip through from commenters like

Jonathan Munoz - who says "They are Americans, you CANNOT deport Americans. Sucks to have a loophole used on you right? "

I love it when these folks let their true colors fly - kind of like waving the Mexican flag while protesting for rights concurrent with those of US citizens.

I agree many pregnant women risk the illegal crossing of the border to have a anchor baby hopeing that it will allow her to stay and live on government assistance The only changes we need in our immigration policy is to take away the anchor baby and to enforce the laws. Too many bleeding hearts want to give them amnesty for breaking the law. This as my grandmother said is a slap in the fact to those who immigrated legally as she did coming from Germany through Ellis Island. She had to learn English and pass the citizenship test before she was given legal status. Reagan was promised by Ted Kennedy that if he signed the amnesty bill the fence would be build and there would not be any need for another amnesty, but the democrates took the money for the fence and diverted it to their pet projects and the fence was never finished, and now the illegals want another amnesty instead of being sent back. Sorry but if you do the crime you need to do the time which in thiss case means getting deported.

There is a very simple solution to this.

Nothing prevents the deported illegals from taking their children with them when they go.

Simple, really...

They need to be sent home with their parents so that they can man up and take care of their own children. What I want to see become standard procedure is for a competent court to hold hearings to determine if any of these anchor baby 'citizenship' can be voided since they exist due to ongoing fraud. This problems has been ignored for way too long.

"They need to be sent home with their parents so that they can man up and take care of their own children"

But it's sooooo much easier, meaning convenient and profitable, for immigrants--both Legal and Illegal--to let you pay for them and their children to be here Illegally by collecting welfare. If you want an eye-opener about the welfare collected by immigrants that the MSM won't tell you about, take a quick look at this exhaustive study:

They "just want a better life" alright. And this is an easy way to get it

There is no simple and easy answer to this issue, yet the burden of responsibility must be placed on the illegals (parents) who have brought their children across the border unlawfully. In doing so, they have sentenced their children to a lifetime of grief, misery, and despair with any hope of 'freedom' all but gone. The kids can't get a decent job, affordable and clean housing, their medical care can't extend beyond the emergency room, no social security, Medicare, or driver's license etc. What's the point then of invading a country when you have to live in fear and under the radar for the rest of your life in the very country they hoped for a better life? The whole matter is just too tragic.
