Working through state parties, the RNC has sent more than $3.1 million this year to Strategic Allied Consulting. Strategic Allied Consulting was hired to do voter registration drives in Florida, Virginia, Colorado, North Carolina and Nevada, and had been planning get-out-the-vote drives in Ohio and Wisconsin.

According Sproul, founder of Strategic Allied Consulting,
We should have known that when the GOP accused ACORN and the Democrats of voter fraud that they (GOPERS) were projecting.  There are reports that this firm and sister companies engage in numerous questionable practices.

In retrospect, Democrats should have investigated GOP operations rather than distancing themselves from ACORN and allowing the GOP to dismantle one of the BEST (and honest) grass root organizations which was responsible for registering many of the 47%-ERS who Romney and the GOP despise.

Shame on the GOP for committing voter fraud, then falsely accusing Democrats and then using these false allegations to disenfranchise minorities and poor voters.

Shame on the media for not doing their jobs and for not debunking these false accusations.

And most importantly, shame on the Democrats for abandoning the 47ers and ACORN in 2009..........

Lets hope that we (democrats)  have learned from 2010 and 2012 elections and thus will never allow the GOP to distract us or intimidate us again..............

What I don't understand here is why HUFF Post is stating it is allegations,,,,this happened with this Strategic Allied Consulting Co,,

Why is there no mention of this and the person who is investigating it?

The shady firm hired by the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF), operating in a number of key battleground states, and owned by Mitt Romney's paid political consultant Nathan Sproul, a man with a long history of allegedly destroying and defrauding Democratic registration forms in election after election, in state after state, year after year, as we explained in our detailed Tuesday morning report describing the latest FL GOP Voter Registration Fraud Scandal as it first broke.... The GOP is not fooling anybody these days when they try to cheat to win and it has hurt their credibility. I hope those independents are reading and getting informed,..This is dishonesty at it's best and they should be ashamed of themselves,,,

They have the audacity to hire the same firm every year and this year they told him to change his name so his personal name would have no affiliation,,,,Lying cheats!!

This is really buried here. There are at least 10 counties involved now.

How is this not front page and above the fold?

I know, right? I had to use the search to find this story. I'm glad to see the last comment was seventeen minutes means someone is aware and interested. I don't understand why this isn't national news. I don't get it. If it were, I would be less afraid. But since it isn't...I get all they-could-actually-steal-this-election-y.

Colorado too... I guess I'm just catching up on this story now, but if Strategic Allied Consulting is representing themselves as an official agency like it seems may have happened to the girl in a grocery store registration drive I saw, that MUST be a felony!

I am hearing it on national TV this morning. This story on HP is old news and just the tip of the iceberg it appears. So much for up-to-date news.

Exactly,,,,That is my question also....And it's not only ten counties it is VA, NC, PA, all the swing states ,,,they are in also,,,and even in CA,,,,Brad blog has several hot pages on it since he is the one that discovered it,,,

I firmly believe this is how Bush won the election in 2004 also!

The attempted voter fraud that the Republicans associated with Sproul and his companies should be a front page story. It's not one employee, like he first tried to say. It's a pervasive pattern that covers multiple states. Every single person registered by his companies across the United States should be reviewed. Not to mention the fact that his people are probably still purging those who are Democrats.

Voter registration fraud does not equal attempted voter fraud. Just saying.

SAC claims to have identified the employees responsible for the fake registration forms in Florida. If that is true, federal investigators should be bringing in the SAC employees for questioning. I would guess the people SAC has identified could supply enough information to obtain a warrant to search SAC offices in Florida, Virginia and Nevada before the paper shredding begins (unless its is already finished.).

Republicans cry about in-person voter fraud (even though that idea has been thoroughly debunked), but where's the real voter fraud?

Great job of keeping the story buried HuffP0. But I suggest you consider CNN's ratings before you proceed any further with your blatant bias.

Really? Murdoch? Only prints what he wants to? Qu'elle shock! FOX? Bought by the liberals to make them look good??
We live in a country where all media is biased toward something, and simple reporting of the facts has never been priority 1.
Look at old man Hearst's comment to Reynolds about the Spanish American War: "You supply the pictures, I supply the war."
Since the beginning of our country , media has played a part in shaping opinion, and not supplied balanced facts. George III took away all taxation from the colonies as they were really upset about sending any money back to mother country without representation in Parliament., except a tax on tea. Yes only on tea.If your expecting people in power or with great wealth to suddenly stop trying to affect policy or opinion to the gain of their own self esteem, a national policy, enhance their position or business, then you are a true optimistic altruist. That's actually a great thing to be in this jaded day and age of the scowling and bitter pundits at large. So keep on being vigilant,.

FOX31 Denver - Republican "True The Vote" registering ‘Only Romney’ Voters Tied to Firm Dumped by RNC over Fraud

DENVER – The Colorado Republican Party has terminated its contract with a firm hired to run voter registration and get-out-the-vote operations here after allegations of fraud, FOX31 Denver has confirmed.

The move came at the recommendation of the Republican National Committee, leading to the termination of contracts with Strategic Allied Consulting in seven swing states, following an investigation of voter fraud by the company in Florida.

“The Colorado Republican Party takes any threat to the voting process very seriously,” said state GOP spokesman Justin Miller. “Following an alleged incident by an employee of Strategic Allied Consultants outside of Colorado we terminated our relationship.”

Already this year, the RNC has funneled more than $3.1 million to the company, just formed in June by Nathan Sproul, an Arizona voting consultant who has run other firms that have been accused of dumping registration forms filled out by Democrats and other improprieties aimed at helping Republican candidates.

And FOX31 Denver has confirmed that the young woman seen registering voters outside a Colorado Springs grocery store in a YouTube video, in which she admits to trying to only register voters who support Mitt Romney, was indeed a contract employee of Sproul’s company.

trying to get ahead of the voter fraud story developing in several swing states. well republicans have finally found it, and you guessed right, it was republicans committing the fraud. can't wait until this story explodes, and it will judging by the amount of internet traffic. say goodbye to any chances you teapublicans had at the whitehouse or senate. life is just fabulous!

It sounds fair that any voter registration forms submitted by a Nathan Sproul-owned company should immediately be discarded. To quote Republican lawmakers in the swing states "No voter fraud is acceptable". Isn't it great when Republican dirty tricks, like the debt ceiling debate, turn around and bite them?
12:44 AM on 09/29/2012
yes, it is better than great, it is best kind of irony. the teapublicans have been crtying voter fraud for some time not. the problem for them, is they were the ones doing it. happy joy!

I remember I went to vote with my children, for Obama in 08. It was a predominately middle upper class area in central NJ, very little diversity if any at all. When I went to the desk to give my name a man came from behind the desk, pointed to me and said no. I was about to lose it. I asked what is he doing. The lady behind the desk with the voter roll said he is challenging your vote. I felt like kicking that guys butt.

To do such a thing in front of my children and to me - for this to be their first image in memory of voting. I was more than angry. The voting booth attendant then said to me, dont mind him they've been doing that all day. I voted and had been canvassing for last 2 months with my mother. BUT after I went back out there and spent the whole day until the polls closed knocking on doors reminding people to vote.

Get out there and canvass, call, talk to the college kids and let the elections office know if you hear or know of any suppression occur in your neighborhood.
