The important take away here is that an average of all the polls show Obama with a statistically significant lead.  More importantly he has a 9 point lead in Ohio. I never take much stock in polls, because it makes people relax and stay home and not vote.

Democrats need to understand, you need to absolutely get out and vote.  These Tea Party Governors--Ohio, Michigan  Read More...

Just today in Florida a Consulting Firm hired by Republicans has been exposed by the local voter registration authorities to be guilty of voter fraud--filing false voter applications.

They will stop at nothing to steal this election, so the bottom line--get out and vote.

Isn't it great when a plan finally goes your way. I'll be the gop is so frustrated they can't stand themselves. Not only is their cheating been stopped in virtually every state where it has been chalenged in court. So their cheating has been stopped in its tracks all across the coutnry so they no longer have that cheating in their favor but they have all the democratic base disturbed that they have had to protect themselves from this cheating so will be turning out in yet again even higher numbers.
It seems that everything the GOP is doing to steal this election is backfiring in their supergreedy faces. hahahahahahahahahaha they must be so frustrated now hahahaahahah lolololol

4.5 million jobs lost in six months under the last republican President. About that many private-sector jobs restored under Obama. Only righties have trouble figuring out which one is better.
02:47 PM on 10/02/2012
Yea that right...."the private sector is doing fine"

8.5% unemployment
6.9 trillion added to the debt
1 ambassador murdered (hussein said died of smoke inhalation)
America attacked while hussein preped for Letterman and his golf date in Vegas ( hussein did say it was a "movie protest"
102.3% increase in gas prices past 40 months
Failed in Afghanistan
It took Bush to end involvement in Iraq
03:16 PM on 10/02/2012
No problem figuring that one out. Average unemployment under GB- 5.3%. Average unemployment before the democrats took over congress in 2006- 4.4%.

Poll figures are all over the place and often skewed one way or another. However, there is one number that is accurate, and should scare the hell out of every taxpaying American voter.

$16 trillion national debt ÷ 137,982,000 million tax payers = $ 43,484.00 owed per taxpayer

And under Obama, the national debt and the amount each taxpayers owes the government to pay off that debt increases every minute of every day. At the current rate of growth, in 4 years, the national debt will likely exceed $ 20 trillion !!

Yes and it is all due to Bush and the republican congress that are deliberastely trying to ruin this country jsut to steal the election
03:02 PM on 10/02/2012
Bush has been gone almost 4 years. Your "common sense" should tell you that it's Obama who is spending the money...on things like those non-existent "shovel ready" jobs, plus $billions on now-bankrupt green energy companies like Solyndra. And lets don't forget the $2 billion he sent to the Muslim Brotherhood, the terrorist group now running the Egyptian government. If you want to destroy America, voting for Obama against will do exactly that.
05:18 PM on 10/02/2012
How long are you going to keep blaming Bush? Wow, get a clue.

The last time the repubs had a team with foreign policy experience in the WH, their approach to protecting us was to start a couple_wars, spend untold billions, destroy the lives of countless innocents, never get the bad guy, and strut around on an aircraft carrier celebrating the accomplishment of nothing.

Having "learned" from that experience, this time around they're proposing a team that has absolutely ZERO foreign policy experience.

republicans – when it comes to doing worse they just never hit bottom.
03:48 PM on 10/02/2012
And Obama's foreign policy experience? One embassay burned to the ground, the ambassador and three others murdered?
05:20 PM on 10/02/2012

The last time the GOP was in the WH, jobs in America were being eliminated at the rate of 700,000 per month. With a Dem in the WH, we've had steady private-sector job growth for months on end. And it would be a lot better except for the never-ending republican obstructionism in Congress.

And in the middle of 2008, Bush spent nearly a trillion dollars bailing out Wall St because of the economic collapse that his policies aided and abetted - 20 billion for Bear Stearns, 180 billion for AIG (after they let Lehman tank) and 700 billion for TARP. The last thing America needs is to go back to those policies.

OBAMA 2012!
03:52 PM on 10/02/2012
And Obama spent more than that on bail outs and stimulous $$. He could have given every American citizen a $100,000,000.00 aand the money would have been better spent.

obama is that you?

Wanted to thank you for not doing your job - not meeting with Israels prime minister or the UN leaders so you could go to Las Vegas and fund raise immediately after our ambassador was murdered and to appear on Letterman and the View. The less you do the better so thank you.

While I have you here what's the truth regarding he terrorist attacks on our embassy on 9/11? Have you stopped trying to pass of the ridiculous story that it was a spontaneous mob who happened to have military weapons that were annoyed by a 5 month old movie no one saw?

Bin laden may be dead but GM is on life support and Al Qaeda is definitely NOT retreating.

By the way free speech STILL exists in this county and the perp walk of the film maker may be his death warrant. Good call. Probation violation yea sure uh huh

Hahahahahaha you are talking about the guy that invented outsourcing.

Obama has already got us pumping more oil than we are consuming for first time in forty years. You can only drill so much. we don't want an oil rig on every beach.
The smart way is to use our oil, gas, and coal most efficient way possible, to take advantage of renewables. We have enough wind in this country to power out entire grid. We could be independent of oil and coal with taking advantage of all renewables and new tech and that will create lasting jobs and real independence from others. Just drilling is not going to get us very far which is Romneys entire plan. but all his plans are nothing but good sounding talking points when put to the test, when you check the facts they just don't add up. How could they they are just talking points in order to steal the election so Romney csan get richer, that is all.

I prefer to stay away from the childish rhetoric about the candidates and focus on what we know. So when I see these poll results I have to ask "who are they polling? and what do they know that the rest of us don't?" Those are valid questions since by any measurement used our president is failing domestically and overseas. And that we know through both empirical data and the increasing rate of violence aimed at U.S. troops and assets in the middle east. So what are these folks who are polled seeing that economists and generals don't see? I wish I could get an answer but all I hear is what he could have done if not for "congress, Bush, Iraq, Afganistan, Libya, and tax cuts." These are excuses not achievements. So this independent will vote Romney unless during debates the president shows me he has a plan for fixing this mess. One attempt at blaming Bush, congress, etc., will seal my vote. I want to see something presidential!

"As of Monday’s FiveThirtyEight forecast, there were 21 states that Barack Obama was projected to have at least an 85 percent chance of winning on Nov. 6."
"21 states" That's a wee bit different from "winning the election".

Pollster and political analyst Scott Rasmussen tells Newsmax that despite new polls showing President Obama pulling ahead of Mitt Romney, the race is still close and “could go either way.”
