I am voting for Obama but let me give some advise to him. Stop having events like this. This kind of press will only upset the undecided and middle America. It makes him look like he rather be in Hollywood having a party with actors and music stars then campaigning in middle America. That is where he should be now not in Los Angeles.

California volunteers are the major support for volunteers in our neighboring states. As a volunteer, I was able to attend this event yesterday. It was awesome. We are working our backsides off. There were tons of us who had complimentary tickets yesterday.
05:25 PM on 10/08/2012
Bart, I disagree. I think that middle American needs to realize that these are no different from the millionaire donor parties that Mitt Romney has...except that his donor parties are hosted by the Koch brothers and are not public events. This event had thousands of "normal" citizens attending it, it wasn't an event that was limited to celebs.

I'd like to see people like Katy Perry use their fame to bring attention to the importance of voting. Especially regarding women's reproductive rights. I don't think women under 25 realize that old men are deciding whether they should have the ability to control their own bodies and they need to wake the eff up before it's too late.

This isn't about victimization it's about representation.

Telling Catherine to control herself is so sexist.

If the youth of America either vote for Romney/Ryan or fail to come out and vote for Obama, they will deserve what is going to happen to their future - it is clear that the young women will, given repub legislation, the prospect of a national "personhood" bill and the potential SCt appointments Romney would make, lost reproductive rights and controls over their own bodies and young men and women will lose the prospects of a reasonable retirement with affordable healthcare.

Normal people like Obama - only racists support Romney, as evidenced by Rock, Williams Jr., and Nugent.

So Stacy Dash, Nicky Menaj and others who are not white, are racists who suppot Romney??

No not underestimate the sleepwalking electorate, like Clint Eastwood, who imagines he's still voting for Eisenhower when he votes radicalized tea Party Republican.

Anyone who choses to date John Mayer is not helping the Obama campaign with a public endorsement.

"Stop by a Katy Perry concert, naturally."

Might want to edit your article. They didn't stop at her concert, Perry was scheduled to perform at Obama's own 30 Days To Victory concert/rally event.

Thank you. And the true headliner of the performers was Mr. Stevie Wonder. The rest played sets of three or four songs each. .

Mr. Stevie Wonder? Thanks for clarifying. I thought Mrs. Stevie Wonder performed.

Everyone is entitled to ones opinion but I swear Republicans make some of the most mean spirited comments ever. Do they realize how they alienate people from their party. Or maybe because most of them are of a different race they feel like its a birth right to insult, demeaner and alienate people.

You do realize your post does exactly what you accuse "republicans'" of doing?

Perhaps if YOU didn't alienate half of the Unites States, you'd fell less alienated in return.

The truth is the majority of conservatives never SAY anything, by their very nature, conservatives, like all old families or old money, democrats and republicans, are private and don't voice opinions as it is rude to do so. THAT is the reason they don't like the opinion of those who are loud, rash, and rude.

Your global stereotyping is quite ridiculous.

Ron Paul seems pretty rational to me and he's a "republican." There are no differences in the parties and the category is set there to give us an illusion of choice.

this is were obama shines with all his celeb friends but when he has to be a leader/president he can't that why he did so poorly when he had to stand up to a leader/business man likeRomney
thats why he chose to sit on the view chatting with ladies instead of UN leaders.
thats why he chose to hang with jay z instead of meeting with prime minister of Israel.

Do you think Romney really gives 2 sh-- about hanging with george clooney and bon jovi bon Jovi doens't even pay his real estate taxes -- he raised bee's for tax cuts..all these celebrities use obama for the notoriety. Romney is a business man with no time for them and he would actually work too Imagine that. can't even imagine what air force one cost us for all these celb trips i know bon jovi flew back on it. crazy..
