Then I'm sure he wouldn't mind having his ilk characterized as oinkers.

Republicans are doing what they do best - preying on the fears of the uneducated. Rather than allow the voters to actually see the real problems in this country, they use fear of immigrants, terrorists, minorities, women, poor people, single mothers, homosexuals, etc., to convince intellectually challenged people to vote for them. As we all know in Louisiana, an uneducated public is easily led, hence the dismal public education system in most of the state.

Governments should be afraid of their people.

Like the Italians blame the scientist who warned them instead of the loose building codes which harmed them. Italy is the Haiti of Europe and Texas the Haiti of the United States. And I apologize to Haiti.

You're just like an animal...no offense. (said the man that doesn't believe in evolution).

Mr. King better hope they serve ice-water in Hell, because seems to want to go there.

PS racism is immoral, and Mr King apparently does not care or things being a bigot is a positive trait.

Comparing Rep. Steven King to the nether outlet of the digestive tract is an insult to that outlet and the best compliment King can ever hope to receive in this life.

A former Republican, tired of being lied to!

Mr. King is a fool and he has shown this time and time again. My hope is the people in North West Iowa are going to wise up and send Vilsack to Washington to reestablish sanity.

What is the average IQ of Steve King's district? Same question for Michele Bachmann's district.
06:06 PM on 10/22/2012
My brother and sister in law live in that district and definitely will NOT be voting for King. Hope there are enough others to get him out of Congress!

did he sprout out of the ground in iowa ? surely he's not a native american? so perhaps he descended from immigrants - obviously whoever chose his ancestors did not choose well..

By not using the word "illegal" immigrants it is obvious that he meant ALL immigrants. Obviously not WASP immigrants, however. Just those whose skin is not white.

It says a lot when a person can't even recognize when they are being demeaning to others.

Yes, it says a lot. Unfortunately, his constituents can't recognize it either, so they tend to support him.
05:31 PM on 10/22/2012
You give him far too much credit. Perhaps we could forgive him if he didn't know how demeaning he is being. Problem is, I suspect he does know. He also thinks it plays well with those in his district who find this treatment acceptable. Let's hope the voters prove him wrong!
