The irony is if you look at EVERY CYCLIST that came in 2nd in years Lance armstrong won the tour de france each had an illegal substance scandal!! Blood doping, steroids etc etc, EVERY ONE OF THEM.

The reality is that sport should be sponsored by Pfizer, Roche, and Johnson and Johnson because cycling is one giant pharmaceutical competition, best new untraceable drug wins.

You believe that Lance Armstrong (hundreds of tests absolutely CLEAN and one "inconclusive" test that "may indicate" doping) is the head of doping in cycling? No, sir. He's just the champ who crushed his doping rivals by large margins 7 times in a row. He may have doped with EPO but, obviously, knew to keep the levels within a certain range. In other words, he wasn't stupid about it. He stayed within the acceptable threshold in order to pass the tests (that's if he used anything at all). Hearsay from jealous haters is worthless especially where profits are the motive for such hired tongues.
01:14 AM on 11/13/2012
Gee, I wonder if keeping clean blood on hand had anything to do with his "passed" tests. He needs to fess up and tell the truth - once and for all. Too many of his team mates are pointing the finger at him. I guess he'll have plenty of time to lay around and stare at his now meaningless yellow jerseys...

Maybe the racing assoc. should be more worried about getting a test that actually catches cheats(if Armstrong really did cheat),it sounds like a big amount of the racers, the better ones were also doping,so i guess Lance was still the best,he should be proud of his achievements. The others are just poor sports.

look at Obama, a closet Muslim with a photoshopped birth certificate, and an agenda to take America down from the inside out, and ask your self who is the worse person? All you numm numms that voted for him, you can explain your part in it to your children and grandchildren when this country's tanked 3 or 4 years from now.....................when they say the blind refuse to see, they are correct............. go ahead and waste your time responding, it makes me happy to see it all go to click, click, click and into "Spam File/Auto Delete".

He should have had his arm extended with his hand clenched and the middle finger sticking up in the air. I say 'friggem all, Lance'.

He can look at em and see what he thinks is greatness. What I see is 7 Jerseys he dragged in the gutter with himself and the pig of greed.

You can tell a man who juices by the company he "chuices"
And the pig got up and slowly walked away.

I wonder what percentage of the whole fields of all those Tour Years were doping? Cycling is the most drugged sport, and the entire fields of all the races know that..............

Probably all of them.  It matters not, they need to clean it up, and the cleanup needed to start with Lance.

You can make all the assumptions you want, the fact remains that he never tested positive yet was stripped of his titles. Baseball and football players have tested positve for years but I dont see any Superbowl or World Series titles being taken away.

Because Olympic sports are more tightly regulated about drug use. Lance avoided be tested positive, but the weight of the testimony over 20 eyewitnesses convicted him.

good point... we should take them away from the individuals, and in some cases the organizations. It is important society takes a stand for the health of the athletes

Say what you want, take from him what you will. The fact remains that he won, drugged not drugged he still did something 97% of you will never be able to do. The fact still remains he never failed one drug test in all his career. I say kudos to him.

Since he has never tested positive for anything, I have to question how they can strip him of his titles and ban him for life off of hearsay evidence. He was and maybe still is the most tested athlete in the history of the sport. Don't you think that he should have thrown up at least one red flag in all of that time? Show me a positive test result or have him admit it publicly and only then will I will say is his guilty. In this country you are still presumed innocent until proven guilty. They have not done that in this case. It is all circumstantial at best. I hope he finds himself a great lawyer, takes them to court and forces them to prove to the world that he is the cheat they claim or forces them to pay up.

This person is a disgrace. He should be criminally prosecuted as far as I'm concerned. He's run a sophisticated ponzi scheme and has scammed millions of people out of money.

Armstrong is the biggest cheat in the history of sports. He and his teams systematically created the biggest doping ring in professional sports. The USADA report details his doping, his international trafficking in illegal drugs, his conspiracy to cover up his acts, and his attempts to intimidate witnesses. The report also details the multiple times he perjured himself in various court appearances. I suspect that every lawsuit or settlement that he won on the basis of perjured testimony will be revisited with Armstrong having to pay HUGE damage awards to the people whose lives he sought to ruing via the courts.

I suspect that Armstrong will also face criminal charges relating the mountains of new evidence in the USADA report. The bad news for Armstrong, is because he engaged in drug trafficking, conspiracy, and witness intimidation, the statute of limitations no longer applies to his acts. He can face charges for the rest of his life.
