I love a good quote as much as anyone, but posting as many as you have, without adding any comments of your own, borders on spamming. IMHO.

The missiles that hit Israel were HARDLY "strays"... rather they were a deliberate, desperate, cynical attempt to divert the attention of the rebel forces anywhere other than where they have been concentrating.

The Syrian military thugs trying to quash their quest for freedom.

It won't work.

President Obama, as we speak, is in constant contact with both Turkey (ANOTHER nation that Assad has attacked for the SAME reason) and Egypt in order to scale back the devastating momentum in Gaza,

You need to refresh your geography. Syrian rebels have fired into Syria, not Israel. Golan heights are Syria, not Israel. We already know that there is a civil war in Syria, so firing inside Syria is no news. What is news is that Israel is getting involved into Syrian war.
Too bad for them, it is not easy to occupy so many neighboring countries.
But do not worry, AIPAC has already arranged that Americna tax payers pick up the tab for the cost of the war.

There are a great many reasons why going to war is the wrong thing to do.

There are also situations where it is unavoidable.

The fact of the matter is that, given their way, the lslamic states will completely destroy lsrael and its people. This has been their avowed goal since the inception of lsrael, and they have actively gone to war a dozen times towards that end.

Doing nothing means the destruction of lsrael. Is this what you advocate?

Iran's remarks are truly comical, transparent, and hypocritical:

"In Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi warned that providing opposition groups with heavy arms could put the entire region at risk of "organized terrorism.""

Iran supports Assad and does not want any competition for influence in Syria or anywhere else.

I wonder how long folks would mourn if we were to let those who would let the lslamic nations have their way, and let them have at lsrael. Because if we force lsrael to stand down, they will achieve their avowed goal: the complete and total destruction of that nation and its people.

The lslamic nations use the Palestinians as their pawns and proxies, with no true regard for their well being. This was true in 1948 when they told them to get out of lsrael; it is true today when they fund Hamas to fire rockets from behind human shields, but won't feed them nor let the immigrate.

Maybe it started when people imposed on them and told them to "get out" don t you think?

That is not how it happened.

Right before the first war against lsrael, the lslamic states told the Palistinians, "Get out of lsrael, or we will destroy you alonw with the Jwes. We'll take care of you." The original setup of lsrael did NOT mandate any lower class citizenship for the Palistinians. It was absolutely the fault of the attacking lslamic states.

And since, those people have been the pawns and proxies of the same lslamic states who thraetened them to get them divided against the Jwes of lsrael.

The lack of historical knowledge on this matter is disheartening.

More Israeli artillery up on the Golan Heights positions Israel to bombard Hezbollah, who are 3 miles away at the farthest point, if they should decide to start sending rockets into Israel.

I find all of these Justifications on both sides of the isle for man's inhumanity towards one another, ludicrous at best.
Until we as humans understand that organized religion will continue to rip us apart there is no hope.
If you believe in a higher power or not, it must be understood that, that belief is personal and must not be foisted on anyone else.
I defy anyone to name any other source of such destruction and discourse as religion has played in the history of man.

I don't think so, not that it hasn't created a lot of destruction. People will only fight so long for the greed of others. Now you throw religion into the mix and make people believe that is what your fighting for, they will lay down their lives and take as many people with them in the process.

For years, I have questioned the actual source of rockets, supposedly being fired from Gaza into Israel, because these simple rockets have never done enough damage in Israel to justice the retaliatory loss of life among innocent Palestinian civilians and Hamas leaders.

The people firing these rockets are double agents working for Israel, or these are the dumbest fighters on earth to keep shooting their toy rockets into Israel.
