Marriage is an isolating event, hence children. In marriage the partners need to be partners in marriage; however friends outside of marriage keep the union from being a burden on the individual. Marriages fail because of the desire of one to meet the needs of the other. It is not possible nor practical for one person to realistically meet every individual need of their significant.

FINISH YOUR SENTENCE AFTER "of their signifigant" When you don't finish your sentences, that makes me KNOW you have more serious issues that are affecting your acedemic life and that will affect your ability to get - and hold down -a job!

The word is spelled "significant" and the other word is spelled "academic" so please don't give advice to others about academics (ironic that you misspelled that word). Also, one should place a period at the end of a sentence before beginning another one, which you failed to do as well.

Other is redundant; stupid.

This woman was obviously not ready to be married. If her single friends wouldn't "hang-out" with her when she was married, they weren't her true friends.

The real question of course, is WHY one would put friends ahead of a life partner? If your spouse isn't at least the equal of your other friends, and you don't share the same ideas about friendships, you are in trouble from the get go.
