Sounds rough! I only get morning sickness after a good whiskey binge!
03:18 PM on 12/03/2012
Hospitalized for morning sickness? LOL....Morning sickness is no different that the feeling you get when you are mildly drunk with whine or any alcoholic beverage , I wonder if she was ever hospitalized for drinking too much wine before? God gave women the strength to endure anything that comes along with pregnancy and "royal pregnancy" is not different than a common womans pregnancy. And hurray for the future useless addition to the monarchy. Now we will have a new addition to our daily headlines following the senseless, rich hard partying life of these good for nothing (not all but most) citizens.

She wasn't hospitalized for regular morning sickness, she has a real condition. And she's not the only woman who's been hospitalized for this, royal or not. Read the article and the comments below and you'll see if it's not serious...

You don't know what you are talking about. Go educate yourself on what type of MS she has. It isn't your normal MS. It is life threatening.

I know exactly what Kate is going through because I, too, had hyperemesisgravadarum and it is awful.
03:03 PM on 12/03/2012
I know how she feels! I had this condition with both my children, which is why I have only two. 24 hour nausea, every day of the week for 14 weeks with my first, 18 with my second. It was beyond misery, but my two children are worth whatever I went through.

The Duchess is very thin, and no doubt could dehydrate, rather quickly, in the circumstance. Hopefully, this condition will not last several months as it is known to last. No doubt she is receiving the best medical care possible, and wishing her and the Prince well, with congratulations, as well.

If kasson719 has a thin cortex, you must not have one at all.

I feel badly for her now, I haven't had it, but that's meant to be just awful. Hope the treatment helps her and it eases up as the pregnancy goes along.

The condition will be on every TV show, too! Here it comes . . . !!!!
02:48 PM on 12/03/2012
Poor girl.....neither of them (especially her) will have any privacy as the press/media will be watching everything she eats, every twitch she makes, watching her waistline, reporting on her clothes' style, ad infinitum. They're probably now camped outside the hospital, unless the Brits kick their butts out.
I truly wonder why we need People magazine, Us, Enquirer, or any of those.......voyeurism for sale.

Ahhhh, but that young lady knew precisely what she was getting into; unlike Princess Di. Empathy denied.

I still expect that there will be times it will be worse than she might ever have imagined.

I had Hyperemesis Gravidarum with all 3 of my children (all girls). I can honestly say that it was the worst thing I've ever been through. I threw up an average of 12 times per day from weeks 7 through 17. I remember having drank a cup of ice cold water and 30 seconds later throwing the entire thing up... water still ice cold. Anything that went in came right out and I had to visit the hospital a few times for an IV drip. I hope she feels better soon.
