It sounds like Rand is just a little concerned that Ashley might run for Senate.

It was announced on local news yesterday that Ashley is talking to Democratic operatives and is considering a run for the Senate.

McConnell barely won re-election in 2008.  McConnell doesn't think that his statements about his "number one goal to make Obama a one  Read More...

McConnell thought he would be Senate Majority Leader after 2012 and that would help his re-election campaign.  He failed at that too!

Will someone please send Rand the results of the last election? He seems to be another one in denial.

The Buddha past of Rand Ryan and his unwillingness to undergo airport security inspection just because he is above the law as US senator will, as clear as the sun shines regardless of the weather, haunt him. His being a spokesman of the discredited Tea Party Patriot$ will also alienate devoted followers of Dick Armey followers. Ashley Judd should run against Rand Paul. Tea Party Patriot$ Pinocchio$ have no business being in politics. They only succeed in sowing hate anbd division and make bipartisanship impossible.

Here's the sad part, coal has lost anyway. Fracking, as bad as it is, has replaced the need for coal. The coal industry in Kentucky is going to take a pretty big hit. What a great time for a Senator who is mature enough to think of other ways to create energy. One who understands that government business partnerships can achieve great outcomes. Of course that might mean losing the naive and uninformed Mr. Paul, but I can live with that. I would miss the Kim Il Jung hairdo though.

He's well paid to try to keep that dead horse alive.

Rand Paul Slams 'Way Damn Too Liberal' James

James 5:1-6. Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries which are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments have become moth-eaten. ...Behold, the pay of the laborers who mowed your fields, and with you have withheld, cries out against you; and the outcry of the harvesters has reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. You have lived luxuriously on the earth and led a life of wanton pleasure; you have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter.

Dear Ms Future Senator Judd:

Please, we right-thinking and reality-based humans need your Progressive Voice in Washington.

You will find tremendous support and success in your run for office with the real records of your opponents.  Mr Paul, the Aqua-Buddha baby himself, is a political joke on his own.  KY deserves better than McConnell or Paul.

Unfortunately, being from KY, I must say that the headline is about spot on. Not that there are not a lot of very intelligent people living there who would love to help their state move into the 20th (not a typo) century, just that there are so many more who do not meet that qualification.

Is this what the Republican party has been reduced to? No issues, just call the other person names. Well, it worked for Scotty Brown in Massachusetts, huh?

How did an arrogant misogynist like Paul EVER win an election???
If Judd runs against him in 2016 do you think one of Paul’s staff will knock her down and step on her head too???
09:08 AM on 12/06/2012
It sounds like he is terrified at even the possibility of her running, must less winning.

Rand Paul is way to dam conservative for America the guy's a freak and gives congress a bad smell. We''ll see how Ashley does against McConnell another useless empty suit Rand Paul might just find out that even Kentucky voters are sick and tired of the conservative rhetoric.

I hate the word "Progressive." It's time to take Liberal back. It's time we made "conservative" a dirty word.

Why, because she is intelligent?
09:13 AM on 12/06/2012
Because she is obviously NOT intelligent. Her beauty was based on the assumption that she had a brain behind those eyes and an empty head has little to hold my interest.
