Wow, so people who would deprive others the same civil rights they enjoy, need a certificate to prove that they only like members of the opposite sex. So they will stick up for you only if you have a certificate? Seriously? I'd laugh, but this is pretty pathetic, phluck it I'll laugh anyway.

I think this is just a well-crafted parody site...the picture of the sausage and the oyster? The suggestion not to give "Likes" to people of the same gender?

Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.

It's very difficult to see this as anything but a parody.

Which would mean that, if it is a parody, it's actually very /poorly/ constructed.

The site is really pulling in the crazies though. As well I doubt it is a parody site, because I was banned from it for being pro-LGBT. Or as another user called me, a self hating hetero.

Interesting - a group that preaches intolerance of others is asking for tolerance for their beliefs

"We also believe that the negative treatment and unwarranted abuse of those who simply disagree with gay marriage is out of control. Disagreement on a controversial issue is not hate."

so this group does not like being called out on their discrimination . i feel bad for them. NOT !
newsflash.. trying to keep civil rights from certain americans is hate.

My god wherever you go you can't spit what without hitting a gazillion hetero's, now mr hetro tell me what right or rights we have and you don't have? Then I can tell you the rights you have and we don't have. Tell you what, lets trade places, then you'll know what discrimination is really like.

As if they could be any more officious: they use a Latin phrase meaning "God created Man and Woman" at the bottom of the logo.

That's not actually what it says; they got the grammar wrong, and used the word for "human" instead of the gender-specific word for "male."

In Latin, "Homo" means "man." I used capitalization as a formality common to mottoes.

"But the group doesn't shy from criticizing what it sees as an unacceptable lifestyle." So reap what you sow, proud H.A.M. members. They're making up victimhood where absolutely none exists. These people really need to get a life.

This reminds me of the Chik-Fil-A debacle. Where people were claiming they were being persecuted and having their freedom of speech taken away, when in actuality, they were on the receiving end of criticism... Both are great examples of false victimhood.

Yes, because letting homosexual people get married is taking away the right for heterosexual people to marry. Wait, no... no it's not.

Well, what about giving homosexual couples the same legal standing in terms of insurance, taxes, etc? No... no, that still doesn't take anything away from heterosexuals. Uh...

What are these people yelling about again?

"" On its website, the group claims to stick up for all heterosexuals who "no longer have a respected voice in this modern world." ""

... They do realize that heterosexuals are the dominant voice in the world and always have been, right?

How insecure does one have to be to actually want a certificate like this on one's wall...and what are the "requirements set forth by the laws of nature" one must fulfill in order to receive it? I really hope Colbert does a take on this, but it almost satirizes itself.

Meh... I'd say that's the inevitable reaction to the struggle for gay civil rights by a tiny minority of seriously butt-hurt straight people. It's unavoidable.

OMG!! WOW! Ummm... Are they going to be Straight Pride Days and Marches now? So heterosexual people need outright acknowledgement and acceptance of their sexual orientation? Don' they have all the rights and benefits we are trying to get? How much more acknowledgement do they need?

Y'know, I've always said it's possible to have a pro-straight group that does it in a respectful way, uplifting themselves without tearing down others, and that such a group would be perfectly acceptable.

This group is not such a group.
