Business doing business. Just think how much they could have made if Romney had been elected president. No wonder it broke their hearts to lose. All that free government money to be had and now none to be had.

What do you expect would happen in a campaign for a guy who sets up his sons for life with multimillion dollar trust funds?

Even those associated with Romney know how to milk that cash cow.
11:27 AM on 12/08/2012
Same thing Whitman did when she ran for governor in CA.

More than 90% of her spending went to companies run by her campaign officials. They made out like bandits and she went on to sink HP.

Speaking of Whitman, SEC officials are saying the Autonomy deal is all on HP's board of directors and not on Autonomy's executives. The SEC is asking for information HP won't be able to provide to show they performed adequate due diligence.

Another example of the GOP using their supporters for their own economic gain. When will these FOX News watchers see through this and realize they are being duped?
12:23 PM on 12/08/2012
Not until they take the time to actually educate themselves.

So he did win?

Adelson must be really happy that he was taken for over $150 million by the GOP.

No honor among thieves, ey? Just the game, right? no hard feelings.

I wonder if he will now invest in a couple of hit men to take care of Rove and the other crooks that robbed him... then again. He uses casinos to rob people, pros in those casinos to extort people, and who knows what other mafia inspired crime he and his organization engages in.

Geophysicist motto: Life seriously...no permanence

Republican logic: Money should only be for those who have the money.

Makes sense doesn't it...after all, America doesn't need to enlist the wealthy's patriotic duty, for they see the country as simply a stepping stone to gain income but place it offshore and protect their wealth with the lower income to defend, fight and die for their status.

Obama's buddies made off with a whole lot more cash. He calls it "Stimulus Plan". Difference is that Obama is giving away cash stolen from the taxpayers and he is shoveling it out in truly massive amounts. He paid quite a lot for the votes.

And we're supposed to be surprised that the good old boy Wall Street methodology was alive and well in the Romney campaign ??? Horrors...there's gambling in the back room at Rick's !!!

Mittens may want to " claw-back" some of that money spent for polling & strategic advice...certainly didn't get 1st class return on his money now did he ???
His " up close and personal " advisers walk away with millions.......and Mittens walks away with a humiliating loss and a ticket to " don't call us...we'll call you " by the GOP.......

I often wondered who got the $billlions of campaign money spent on this election. Now we know the Romney campaign was all about making Romney aids rich, along with all the "dark" money that Karl Rove stuffed into suitcases heading for the Cayman Islands.

Good, I was worried that somehow the GOP had left its history of corruption behind as it moved into the Tea Party era. I am hearkened to see that nothing has changed....
10:26 AM on 12/08/2012
Mittwitt is a money-making machine, but that doesn't make it right. He and his coat-tail riders have made obscene profits from his farce of a campaign. Seems he spent a lot of cash on polling and perhaps he ought to dock them for making up numbers.

I am grateful, GRATEFUL, he did not win. He would have fleeced America for all his corporate buddies. His greed is insatiable and his lies to the public outrageous. May he never run for anyting again, not even dog catcher.
