Those reviews are so mediocre I almost fell asleep. Now if you want to see some creative reviews check out Amazon reviews. See Tuscan Whole Milk 1 gallon.

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams of Tuscans I had known before
But the light inside was broken, and the darkness gave no token,
And the only words there spoken were my whispered words, 'No more!'
Coke and beer, some ketchup I set eyes on, and an apple core -
Merely this and nothing more"

They should do a story on the reviews left where I got my car tinted.

"They did an ok job"
"I think someone stole my change"
"I don't remember leaving a blunt in the ashtray"

Journalistic GOLD!!

The writers on Huffingtonpost need to learn what "Ridiculous" means: Those reviews were just basic reviews. There wasn't anything special about it. This article was such a weird stretch of a non-story...

Also: I guess I am one of the few who DOESN'T crave McDonald's, EVER. Whenever I smell that chemical exhaust coming out of a McDonald's, I just think of Auschwitz. They're such morbid, unhealthy places.

Oh, same here. I used to eat at McD's, even liked it to some extent, many years ago. But after I cleaned up my eating I'm now close to gagging whenever I run past a fast food joint and inhale grease fumes.

Yeah, it's really sickening.  The clientele going into and out of a McDonald's really say it all for me.

Eating there is more expensive then buying fresh food so why poison your body?

Somehow, equating Auschwitz, where countless people died, to McDonald's shows you have a pretty poor understanding of history. This is borderline offensive.

she's not allowed to free associate? I also see the whole thing as a machine churning out death, each option on the menu another demented human experiment, epigenetically transforming the subjects incrementally, bite by bite, into strange beasts; new obese organisms, some hardly human, some not at all; hopelessly desperate, depleted, with barely the will to move forward, the bayonet of corporatism driving them forth, to a gruesome heartclogged death.

maybe not history. she has a pretty poor understanding of empathy, respect for the dead, and reality in general.

McDonald's hamburgers in Texas use much more pepper than in other states. Not that it matters.

I have to agree, not all Mcdoo doos are the same in Sacramento I had two cheeseburgers and neither of them looked like anything I have seen in a Mcdonald's prior, meaning the burger. I have never eaten feces before but I thought I had that day.

Overall:
McDonalds has mastered the ability to quickly deliver a consistent product around the world via thousands of franchised outlets. Pretty much where ever you find yourself, there is a good possibility that a McD's is somewhere in the general vicinity.

Many patrons consider the products offered to be food, yet while most of their products are intended to be put into one's mouth (their toy and trinket products aside), there is great debate as to whether it qualifies as actual nutrition, much less food. However, when everything else is closed or when needing to put things into the mouths of one's large brood for a total budget of a mere $10-20 and one lacks the time or proximity to a grocery store, McD's is an mouth filling option.

Much of it is food-like substances, the rest is factory food. No real food to be found there.

If you want a lesson in socio-economic strata, do not use the drive through. Go inside and see the people eating inside a McDonald's. It's quite amazing how different people look who go in to dine as opposed to those who line up in their Lexus to grab stuff at the drive through.

While in there be sure to get a close look at the finger print smeared touch screens they use before handling your food!

Enchanting!  I think the best thing to do to break the eating at McDonald's habit is to actually walk into them and see where you are actually buying your food at.  You'll stop soon enough.

We Americans love to stuff our faces with garbage.

How about instead of complaining about a terrible fast food establishment, you go to your local grocery store and make yourself a meal. Oh on the run is no excuse for fast food. Supermarkets have meals ready and delis, etc.

If you have an overweight kid, I bet McDonalds helped out.

an over worked underpaid population may not have the time money or energy to both shop selectively and prepare decent meals. Also if you come from a culture thats never really had access to the best food, the chances that you've been socialized to really implement a healthy well rounded diet is slim

An article that pokes fun at absurd McDonalds reviews should be written by someone a little better than the authors of absurd McDonald's revews.

"The other good thing is the lines. There are really no lines, but rather a crowd. So you just push past people to the front. Something the tourists arent used to, but gives the lokes an advantage.".......Classic. I love this review.

It doesn't make much sense to me to review McDonald's on Yelp, as they are going to be around for at least as long as mankind is. Say what you will about them but their success shows that no matter how many people put them down, just as many are eating there. And this is coming from someone who is not a great fan of them. (Burger King and Wendy's, friends, if you're gonna go the fast food route.)

the most useless Yelp reviews seem to be of sushi restaurants. More than anyone else the owners of sushi joints delight in posting most ludicrous reviews on their competitors.
And usually in a stilted English. I recall a review along the lines of: " Sushi chef bad, cut finger and serve contaminate to customer. Don't go here."

'McDonald's cravings happen, even to those of us with the best of healthy-eating intentions.'

Do you also crave gasoline 'cause that's about as good for you? I get being tempted by something that could pass as food that is bad for you, but come on, son.

I hate it when I order something in the drive thru VERY SIMPLE like a value meal (only 1 value meal) and then they make me pull ahead and wait as it isn't ready. REALLY???? I have to pull ahead for something so simple?
