If this was staged to return Scott Walker, the Republicans are sitting on a serious hiding as a replacement senator for half a year will fill the seat and the only reason Walker raised the huge sum of money hid did over the past few years was to keep out Elizabeth Warren.
Nearly all of Scott’s money, somewhere close to $20 million non-pac money came from Wall Street as they  Read More...
The most likely challenger is one of the most popular political figures in the state and he already has a 6 to 1 campaign finance advantage and in a nominal head to head is better than 10 points ahead.
The only thing the Inquisitors had against Susan Rice was that she read from the classified briefing she was given by the intelligence committee as she wasn’t privy to the ongoing review but in the Republicans zeal, they released highly classified information that put field agents lives in real jeopardy.
The rush to fabricate a case against one of the if not the most accomplished diplomats America has seen in generations will unravel as it is all based on far right wing media generated hype, for solely political reasons, a virtual hail Mary pass to give the bumbling dishonest Mittster some sort of path to electoral victory last month.
The Republican party in lieu of policies that most of the electorate even find mildly rational, have become the conspiracies party and people recognize conspiracy theorists as ravingly unhinged.
Whatever respect John Mc once garnered has long since dissipated as he has become the Republican Party’s know nothing expert on foreign policies, angry, bitter and disillusioned at never being president.
So it’s back to the drawing board as they are exposed once again as opportunist on manufactured conspiracies.

Kerry, McCain, and Graham are an item, and Kerry should not be rewarded with office for this shameful skullduggery.

I would not choose Kerry, leave him where he will do the most good--in the Senate. My choice would be to ask Bill Clinton to temporarily fill the SOS spot. Maybe even get Jimmy Carter to help him. Both Bill and Jimmy are well thought of by the other world leaders, and nobody ever came closer to peace between Israel and Palestine then Bill Clinton did...Then I'd start looking for someone (truthfully, John Huntsman might not be a bad choice; he's a Republican (at least for now), but not radical, and I feel he does have the intrests of the US in his heart and would work well with Obama). Just a thought......

Neither would get confirmed by the Senate. Clinton, maybe, but never Carter!

If you "Dingleberrys" believe that — I have some hair tonic to sell you that will even grow a head full of hair on Karl Rove's head, to sell you. President Obama has someone else in mind.

The repubs plan is falling right into place. The dems are following their lead. Nothing against Kerry, but this ain't right, and obama should not knuckle under on this.
11:10 AM on 12/14/2012
Democrats should not think that Scott Brown lost the election to Warren but rather Warren won it from Brown. Not any generic Democrat could do that. Brown still has a high personal approval in Mass.

Here is some irony for you - John Kerry was swift boated out of a job by the Lying CONS; and now he has been swift boated into one by the lying CONS...

"the 'cons' wanted information?"

Is this a declarative statement or a question?

Just to be clear: the cons wanted a political firestorm just before the election and the American people were too smart to fall for it.

If John Kerry is nominated, Vicki Kennedy would be an interesting choice to run in a special election against Brown to fill the spot until the actual senate election in Massachusetts.

is she related to the 'sink or swim' senator from Massachusetts

In honor of her husband and the Affordable Care Act, she will beat Brown without question in Massachusetts. The Kennedys have given much to their country, compared to any Republican political family... say the Romneys.
