"Sometimes things have to get a lot worse before they get better." If they get any worse we won't have to worry about a fiscal cliff because we are all going to be trying one to jump off of!
Get it together you guys these are you are playing with and not a game of Monopoly!

The Tea Party are most popular in the GOP led red states that tend to take more from the federal government than they give. With iron-y the tea party reality would be all wrinkled.

Low information extremeists.....wait until it affects them, then there will be howls about what Obama has done. They never think that good government is about compromise. Let the country go over the cliff like they want, and then watch them blame everyone else if they are hurting because of it.

At least they have given up pretending to be bipartisan. They are the extreme end of the right wing of the republican party.

I want conservatives to stay strong," says Christine Morabito, president of the Greater Boston Tea Party. "Sometimes things have to get a lot worse before they get better......................................The very reason why nothing gets done in Washington today. Everybody wants their own personal agenda forfilled and the hell with compromising.

The GOP is already building their own casket politically. What do they have to offer America?
They will be dealt with in the next Election cycle & will get what they deserve.....

Well then, if our government is so bad move to a place with less of it. The beyond dire situation of the poor is how most countries "pay" for that. Really please go live in Somalia, or in Hong Kong if you hate government so much, if you hate America so much! But when you do, please, if you are say, a construction worker, or a corner shop owner, or whatever, don't come crying back. Don't come pounding on the door pathetically pleading "take me back Uncle Sam!"

Hong Kong, like Shanghai, looks nice and modern, clean and prosperous on the outside, but for many it is desperate place to be in that. That and the government heavily regulates things often in lieu of higher taxation.
06:15 PM on 12/23/2012
The tea party has become like a religious cult that believes in the dogma of no tax increases no matter what. They operate in an alternative reality that denies that anything bad will happen or state that they are willing to die with their leader Grover Norquist. In this sense they have already spiked the cool aide and have lined up to get their dose.

They would "rather fall off the cliff than agree to a compromise that includes tax increases for any Americans, no matter how high their income"? Seriously?! Don't these wackjobs know that "falling off the cliff" means their taxes will automatically go up? What do they think the fiscal cliff is? Jimmy Cliff's financial brother?

they have no idea what they are saying. just spout nonsense if they think it goes against the president. remember all those signs they carried in 2010: keep government hands off my medicare?

they truly believe it's win for them when they block anything the president hopes to achieve.

"Know"? "Think"? This is the Tea Party we are talking about here. I have just been having a fantastic conversation with a Bagger about how Benghazi is a political party in Egypt that committed acts of terror against our Ambassador, and that I am a "more on" and out-of-touch for not knowing this.

Lol.

Benghazi must rhyme with Nazi. Therefore, it must be political party.
