Williams can't even decide what his name is supposed to be or where his chin went.

Williams can't even decide what his name is supposed to be or where his chin went. All that money and no sense reminds me of another piece of Mhit.

Note to Jr...don't make it worse for your father by not knowing the difference between "our" and "are". That's the real outrage.

“That system was a great system for my style of play,” Williams said before a Dec. 20 matchup with the Utah Jazz. “I’m a system player. I love Coach Sloan’s system. I loved the offense there.”

"Nets management has to cease treating Williams as the defacto assistant GM. “In training camp he was in my office after practice every day just sitting there. He calls himself, ‘the assistant GM’, “ King chuckled about Williams’ involvement in personnel decisions last April."
In Utah, Deron had Sloan fired as "management was beginning to drown out the longest tenured head coach in the league for their cantankerous 26-year-old point guard."

Same old story. Mediocre players always cost Coach his job.

Stop complaining, he's a coach for a game, not some scientist on the brink of discovering a cure for AIDS.

And, he still gets the rest of the $4 million that the Nets owe him under his contract.

Why should the firing come as a surprise?

The Nets started the season hot but lost focus. They started 11-4 but have gone 3-10 since.

The coach is responsible for that.

B ball is hilarious.......they need to start firing or benching those players that aren't playing to the best of their ability.

Deron is a whiner. All the $ he makes, he should be able to play in any system. Man up dude!!

Deron has a decent cast around him, his problem is, he does not know how to make them better. I've read a number of post stating, he does not have good players to work with. Great players know how to make average players better. Deron Williams does not have that type of leadership, he has to be surrounded by much stronger players, for him to be the best he can be. The mistake the Nets made, was giving him a salary which requires strong leadership, a will to win and he ability to make others better. With his new found love for Sloan's system, Williams is also realizing this himself.

I agree. Showing off a few flashy moves every now and then does not make you a leader. He absolutely does not make any of his team mates better. Rondo, he ain't.

Perhaps Junior should spend less time on Twitter and more time in school. It's "our", not "are", kiddo.

You could see the Nets offense looked tentative and confused, possession after possession. The offense has to be attacking and putting pressure on the defense, not just going through the motions trying to follow the ineffective methods of a dictatorial coach. Mistreating Kris Humphries was ugly and unfair and bad for the morale of the team.
Look at the Spurs offense. Their talent level is less than teams they dominate. Reason: the coach
