That 50 billion spent equates to 5 billion a year. Its just about what the Waltons make in interest for a year on their fortune in the bank. How noble and caring of them..

First time went in a WALLYWORLD, in the 80's they proudly boasted all the American made products they sold....now there is probably nothing made in America, their produce is crappy, sell Seafood from China among most of the other products they have, so now they plan to sell American made goods??? What goods??? Cars? They helped push American textile industry out of the country so what are they going to do, buy their own manufacturing company.... and the beat goes on.... it is going to be interesting,,,,,,,

Why would they want to treat our vets like that? Our vets deserve much better than a Wal-Mart job...

I don`t profess to know a lot about supermarkets, but as a Wal-Mart basher in the past, I would say they are making an honest effort to make a positive effort to boost our economy.

As a ex Walmart basher i have to say well done Walmart i will only have praise for the Corporate patriotism that has been missing for years, no longer can Americans tie the corporate image as un American Communistic Government supporters, now if only the American people can demand the same responsibility for other big box stores. Just maybe the United States isn't over producing goods and services for the American economy,Americans need jobs and the best part is the Government doesn't need to get involved with job creation! Time for the nation to compete and produce for our own people and industry, let the theory of the jobs aren't coming back take a back seat to American progress!

Until they start offering more "Made In The USA" items that we can AFFORD?
Then this "initititave" is nothing more than window dressing...and a bad-looking one at that!
