They are already energy negative and a massive drain on Federal budget to subsidise production. So what are they going to do? Prolong the pain and cause more pollution which in turns causes even more pain. Just so a few oil companies can pretend to make excessive profits off the remaining reserves of fossil fuels. In reality they are just suckling off the Federal reserve just like the Banksters.

Friends, killing the Keystone XL is not really a partisan issue, it's more like human beings over corporations. A lot of conservatives should be able to get behind that.

Stop the Keystone XL - action Feb 17 in DC!

He needs to do the "Correct" thing with this issue. We need to stand firm with this and not let the "Right Wing, GOP Obstructionists" water this life sustaining issue into a meaningless bit of worthless legislation. It is way too important for every human and the Planet.

The only difference between the Republicans and the Democrats is that Democrats give better lip service. That doesn't include Nancy Pelosi. Outside of a few minor anti-civil libertarian statements (which I readily forgive her for, not the she needs my forgiving), she has been a great friend to the Environment. Harry Reid has shown abysmal leadership, and as for the President, I will only say that Cushing Oklahoma and Kulluk were strictly the product of a Democratic administration. If the Democrats want to be the party of the enviromentalist, then they need to step up to the plate and be the part of the environmentalist when it counts.

It was a thing before Al Gore. Long, long before. Deniers care more about Al Gore than anyone concerned about warming.

It's not a myth, and it doesn't come from Al Gore.

I have to wonder what caused the brain damage that makes you ignore incontrovertible evidence. Do you drink crude oil?
