If you think that is bad, I bought a box of Tyson chicken nuggets right? Yeah, after I cooked them, I picked up the first one which had the feeling of being an air pocket. You bite into it, and there it was half of the nugget was empty. The other half, I can't tell you if it was chicken or not. It didn't look like chicken, it didn't taste like chicken, it sort of smelled like chicken, but mostly was this rubbery substance like minced chicken pieces. Tyson is supposed to mean chicken and know chicken. So, you would figure that this company would put out a quality product. From what it says on the box, it is FALSE ADVERTISING which is against the law!

Yep more evidence for the need for smaller government, less regulations, fewer inspectors. Corporations will do the right thing and self regulate, safety comes before profits always.

Lesson, stay away from nuggets. Buy whole chicken and cook it yourself.

Wen I became pregnant with my first child I was a vegetarian. Then I got hyperemesis, where I threw up virtually everything, even plain water. About 5 months into my pregnancy, still vomiting 8-10 times per day, I walked past a McDonalds. The smell drew me in and I was craving their nuggets. I ate them for the first time in ears and they, miraculously, stayed down. Since I threw up all other "real food" items this convinced me something fishy was going on. However, I admit to eating them during pregnancy because they were literally one of the three things I would not throw up for the next 4 months. Fortunately, I made it through my second pregnancy without eating them. Due to low iron levels in both pregnancies I was forced to start eating meat (supplements would not stay down) and am no longer a vegetarian, but I do my best to buy organic meat and make my own chicken and fish nuggets in bulk and freeze them for quick mealtimes.

After 1 month break from fast food and eating just green salads and plant based protein, I made a stop at McDonald's and bought chicken nuggets. I could not make it past first bite. The repulsive smell and taste of the "meat" was overwhelming. I threw that "stuff" away.

We only like to see things from the pretty side. A pretty plate with colorful garnishing or from colorful packaging. Reality can be disturbing.

Well, I knew about the meat by product thing when I was a teenager working at a fast food restaurant. Read the label people. If you don't know the source or content of the food, don't eat it. I have had a severe food allergy all my life which forces me to ask and read labels. If the content and sources is not known, I don't eat it.

I had some chicken bites or whatever they call them at KFC recently. They were good and upon examination appeared to be actual pieces of chicken.

Not that I eat fast food, but I'll take McDonalds' processed slime over Chick-Fil-A's mult-imillion dollar bigoted, anti-gay donations any day.
