She would be funny maybe, if I could understand half the words she doesn't enunciate.

These pre-video ads are disgusting! They come on automatically after the video and you can't turn them off! Isn't this against the law?

I've never seen the show, but this Mamet's performance is irritating. And damned good!

It blows my mind how many of you people hate this show. If it were a show called Dudes and depicted 4 men in the same light you would be all over that.

I'm a woman. I find this show the typical boring and meaningless product of a talentless recipient of nepotism.

Other than the great, witty, writing, a totally original script, superb casting and acting, realistic story lines, a level of honesty rarely seen in episodic television (sometimes uncomfortably so), realistic sexual situations instead the usual Twilight crap, and an unflinching look at a generation usually pandered to, I agree with you.

Well, I am sorry I upset you. I was just expressing my opinion based on decades of experience as an artist and writer. You should look up the word trill, BTW. Note that I never made it personal (unlike you and all the t naught things you wrote about me!

Zosia stole a few scenes in The Kids Are All Right, too. Her character showed us what disturbing things can develop when a teen girl has only one mother to watch out for her. Her attempts to bring lazy Joni to puberty were both sad and heroic.

Hey, remember when everyone was obsessed with good shows like The Sopranos, The Wire, Mad Men, and Breaking Bad? What happened? When did we start drastically lowering our standards?

So you're not the target demographic. Get over it.
07:54 PM on 03/17/2013
I'm totally the target demographic. I'm a millennial.
Besides, good writing is good writing, no matter why the target demo is. Sadly, this show does not have that. It's both witless and artless.

hahaha funnily enough your examples basically depicts filthy behavior of men.. and that somehow is of better content then a show about the normal lives of girls.

By that argument The Sisterhood of the a Traveling Pants is a better book than Crime and Punishment. We just have very different standards for what constitutes good art.

I have enough trouble understanding what Shoshannah is saying without weird, clunky muzak playing loudly over the clips.

"Shosh" is easily the most irritating character, as her routine is old and not funny. She talks very rapidly and tries to sound like a New York Valley girl. This cartoonish behavior prevents her from developing as a character.

Heh, my wife watched 17 minutes of Girls last night. said it was the worst, stupidest trash she'd seen in her entire life, and wishes she could have the memory of that horribly written show scrubbed from her brain.

Look up just who owns, and use to own who, and get a clue about how are our lovely corporate media business is done in the the limited incestuous media marketplace.

There are only a handful of "players", and real money probably never changes hands...

Or you could just not watch the finale of "Girls," since it's a dreadful and dishonest show.

My question, and hope- is it "the finale"? As in, are we finally free of Lena Dunham's mental masturbation? Or do we have to pay to have that time slot filled with yet another "daring" season?
