There is no truth in politics

It is not the Obama Administration these people need to be concerned about, it is the Big Oil Corps with a lot of cash that can buy anything and anybody.

They've already bought your government, which is why Maduro is addressing Obama.

President Kennedy was quoted as saying, "How could I have been so stupid?" to trust the groups who were advising him, such as the CIA and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS). (2) Even more damning to the CIA was a reputed quote by President Kennedy that he wanted to "splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it into the winds." One could only wonder how much damage the world would have been spared of, if only this desire of the Kennedy's would have been able to take effect.”
Truman referred to the CIA as the "American Gestapo". I'm sure that they would have to have had good reason to make those statements.

Got a link to the Truman quote? It was under Truman that the CIA was created in 1947 to replace the WW2 era OSS.

I was thinking the same thing, but you said it first. I believe our government is capable of anything, especially when $ or OIL is involved.

" a plot by the Pentagon and the Central Intelligence Agency to kill his opposition rival and trigger a coup ahead of an April 14 election.."

Look what they are doing in Syria, (openly funding terrorism ). He should be a little worried.

Side note, The Maduro salute looks just like that Greek soccer player. But since he has a closed fist guess he gets a media pass.

do you think you're still gonna spew in this manner after you finish school?
03:39 PM on 03/17/2013
Why do I get the impression that Nicolas Maduro is playing mind games with the Americans and the US backed opposition. There's a lot more going here than meets the eye, especially after the announcement that there will an investigation into the death of Hugo Chavez. Could it be that the Cuban security service, already proved to be no slouches when dealing with the CIA, have picked up on an aspect of Chavez's illness which provoked suspicion. So many question; so few answers. So far.

Actually he was flashing a victory/peace sign. I see the US corporate editors conveniently cropped that part out of the picture.

You guys are so easy to influence. Like children!
05:27 PM on 03/17/2013
No Gareth, you're the child. Not only do you believe the lies of Chavez but you took his money to continue posting them. Now, you are taking Maduro's money to post his childish lies.

No doubt his fist was clenched, as that is the general left wing thinghy.

A flat *right* hand clearly indicates a nazi.

Know your gestures.

It's all good fun, but then, esp. in Greece, it is not.
