If Donald Trump is not happy, it must be a good thing.

If Trump had been president he could have used his power to block these offshore wind turbines the same way Senator Kennedy used his position to block wint turbines from blocking the view off Massachusetts.

Why must this man be so conistently on the side of wrong??
02:06 PM on 03/27/2013
Because not only is he always on the side of Trump, he doesn't recognize any other sides' legitimacy to even exist. Reminds me of many other Conservatives....

Trump can just take a flying leap.

He is disgusting in so many ways. Now it's "screw renewable energy & what's best for the planet....you can't screw up my view & my pocket book"

Wonder if folks like Trump (and, yes, like T Kennedy) who object to having to see wind turbines on the ocean horizon are equally as torqued by the sight of boat's sails? Does it really make sense to be offended by the sight airfoils providing power for people's home, but not by the sight of airfoils providing power for people's yachts?

I daresay the tacky design of anything Trump related would be much more of an eyesore on the beautiful coast of Scotland than some wind turbines. I hope they kick him out.

But Trump's buildings are not blocking boat owners view of the pristine landscape?

I think his hotel should be blocked and his other stuff torn down.

Brithish Law is nothing like US law. Wait till he gets a taste of it.

Also the loser pays real damages, meaning the other sides actual legal costs

He is so use to being coddled by the American system he will find out the rest of the world is not going to put aside progress to fatten his wallet.
02:55 PM on 03/27/2013
Indeed ! And it is great to see some countries moving ahead and developing
alternate sources of power readily available. The turbines are a lot more sleek
to look at too, then oil platforms out at the sea. Less issues with safety and definitely not the potential environmental hazard that oil systems present.

By simply opening his mouth, Trump could power the entire wind farm.

In Trumps case, it must surely be The Law of Guaranteed Losses....

Of course he shows his love of the people of Scotland and care for their energy needs. What, No? Oh ya, just his needs. Got it.

Ignore him and kick him out the country!
