Awwww, so sweet! Momma looks exactly like my cat, they could have been twins! Sometimes wish she could have had kittens.

Pretty funny. But, of course, all kittens (and most adult cats) do this sort of thing when they dream. (And so do humans, to an extent -- check out video taken in sleep clinics.) The look on the mama cat's face was priceless.

Neurological problems, and that is why the mother is concerned.

Not true -- this is perfectly normal dream state activity. All cat owners have seen their cats twitch in their sleep, chasing phantom mice, no doubt.

With the tail lifting up like that. Sorry, the cat could be epileptic.

Even human kids do this sort of thing not to mention adults.

Normal REM sleep. My adult cat could give this baby a run for its money. There's absolutely nothing with that kitten. And most seizure activity in humans and animals occurs during a waking not sleeping state.
07:53 AM on 04/02/2013
This cat needs an EEG. He's having a partial complex seizure. Awe, so cute with his epilepsy and convulsions.
09:53 AM on 04/02/2013
No, it isn't. It's in REM sleep. All kittens do this in their sleep.

I don't think he is dancing ......I think he is having a nightmare where he is being chased by a dog and he is trying to get away.....just saying
