she probably got some threats. but unlike the dc madam, she is quiet and probably wont get harmed. dc madam probably didnt commit suicide and the media so happily going for the version of the suicide. its such a wretched shame of a media.

"The plea agreement, which calls for a 10-month sentence, spares Alexis Wright from the prospect of a high-profile trial featuring sex videos, exhibitionism and pornography. She's scheduled to be sentenced on May 31."

ROFL. The plea agreement protects her high-profile clients.

""We're very satisfied with it. It's an appropriate outcome, given the gravity of her actions," Assistant Attorney General Darcy Mitchell said after the brief court hearing."

If there was no customer base, the "gravity of her actions" would have been limited to giving classes.

It's high time to legalize prostitution in this country, regulate, tax it and provide adequate health checks for sex workers, and basic rules for their clients to minimize the spread of STD's, etc. We are a nation of Puritanical wimps when it comes to the world's oldest profession, and it's genuinely ridiculous how we criminalize something that is no worse/no better than smoking marijuana.

I wonder how many wives in Maine are now remembering how excited their husbands were in taking their 'Zumba' class... "Can't be late, hon" as they ran out the door with their little zumba gym bag...

We jail someone for getting money for sex but when the banks ruin the economy, no one gets a single day in jail.

Our legal system is pathetic.
