In a previous life, Pat Robertson was one of the judges who put Galileo in jail for suggesting the earth was not the center of the solar system.

He'd do it today of allowed to.

I never thought I would ever agree with Pat Robertson on any issue, but on this one I do - sort of. I would have to say that yes, ignorant, uneducated people are more likely to believe in superstitious nonsense and fairytales, and listen to old clowns like Pat Robertson.

No, Pat, fewer miracles happen for "sophisticated" Americans because we know why lightning happens, and what causes earthquakes, and a solar eclipse isn't a sign of impending doom.
Whereas your "simple" foreigners don't always have the education needed to know why things happen in the natural world, and so are more likely to put down "miracle" instead of "physics" as the answer to why that hot water is spraying up from a hole in the ground.

What miracles is he talking about. There haven't been people being raised from the dead, or having blindness cured miraculously. I can't stand this guy.

Yes - the dumber you are the more chance you're religious.

Let's get this straight. Uneducated people will see an event of chance as a miracle because, those people will tend to believe what their pastors says more then a highly educated person that understands science. However, the flaw in this statement is if it wasn't for the highly educated wealthy people, Pat wouldn't be on TV making millions a year to ramble nonsense on his program. It should be more like, brainwashed people that still believe in the bible will see random acts of chance as miracles more then someone that has dismissed the teaching of the Church.

Wow. Do you really believe the Earth was formed in 6 days from a man in the sky? That Noah actually built a boat big enough for all the animals in the world? Not just 2 of each mind you, those were only the unclean ones. The clean ones went aboard in sevens. Does science know all the answers, no. But we learn all the time. I mean when the Bible was written people thought the Earth was flat.

An explosion? What explosion? Don't tell me you're conflating the big bang, abiogenesis and evolution? The level of ignorance it takes to do that is rather astounding.

Not a fan of Pat. But evolution is the Myth.

Please explain to me how evolution is a Myth. Don't use Biblical explanations, as nothing in the Bible can be proven. Also don't spout out how evolution is a theory, a scientific theory is different from the theory you have of how the Earth came into existence.

Evolution isn't a myth. You're wrong. It's as simple as that. Believe what you want, but don't lie to people. After all, isn't lying a sin?

And that is why I classify evangelists and missionaries as the filthiest weapons of mass destruction. Going out round the world, fooling people and eradicating native cultures.

Every country round the world should ban these people as China has done, and countries like the US which unleash them on unsuspecting cultures round the world should be made to pay for it.
