The court system is very much against men.
The case of Therese Ziemann is a total miscarriage of justice. She tricked a man into being tied up in a motel room. She then called two more women in the room. She glued his genitals. And held a gun to his face & genitals. She also punched him in the eye. The police report said he had a swollen eye. the media reported the sexual assult w a smile. People (mostly women) made disgusting comments on line. Talk about rape apologist. T-shirts were sold celebrating the sexual assault of a man.
The three women pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. They received no prison time. They don't have to register as sex offenders. Charges against a fourth woman were dropped completely. The anti-male justice system assist women in committing crimes against men. Men would have gotten 40 yrs.

I had never heard of this case, before your post. This was a pretty wild and extreme way to teach a cheating partner a lesson. I despise cheaters too, but these women went to far and should have served jail time. It seems the husband/ boyfriend/victim in this case assume responsibility for what these women did to him. Perhaps, that' s is why they didn't go to jail!

Only a militant misandrist could possibly think that the penalty for cheating on ones significant other should be torture and sexual assault. The fact that you would even justify what those women did by saying "I hate cheaters" is inexcusable.

I also despise cheaters. The victim of this crime was not a cheater. He had been seperated from his wife (one of the women).

Yeah, and it only took her 5 years and his release to apologize and set the record straight? Not human.

The justice system wld rather put innocent men in prison. Than guilty women.

A falsely accused man is a raped man.

False rape accusation is basically raping a man. Raping his prospects, raping away his life, raping away his money, and most likely physically being raped in prison.

What scum this woman is. I wonder did it ever once enter her mind that she was potentially ruining the life of an innocent. Or how about the fact that lies like hers make it all the more difficult for real victims to be heard.
I doubt it did; to do something so appalling requires selfishness which excludes any common decency.

Because if we don't just shut our traps and go along with the false accusations, it "might discourage real victims from coming forward"! So because a few bad men rape, good men have to suffer the consequences. It's called "equality."

There is a certain dichotomy here, if you prosecute her or make lying about being raped against the law all that is going to do is discourage anyone from EVER telling the truth, then it begs the question how do you ever prove a false accusation if the alleged victim never recants. I think this guy got really lucky because if what she did was illegal then she would have forever remained silent. What can we do, review and strengthen laws already on the books where in cases of he said she said consensual rape requires a heavier burden of proof to start with. There are too many innocent men sitting in jail over her false word.

It should be a law that if your are found to have lied about a sexual assault (rape, molestation, etc) that you get the exact sentence those crimes you lied about carry.

...at least the same sentence as the person who was wrongfully convicted because of the lie.
02:16 PM on 04/17/2013
I recall a similar case. The accuser was given no jail time and under a year of probation. The judges reasoning was that if a stiff sentence was given it would discourge more women that had falsely accused a man of rape from comming forward. She was also praised for her bravery at doing the right thing. Very strange, but in todays society the judge had a point, and that in itself is very sad.

That lying ----- need to go to jail her and her mom, they make it bad for women that really get rape but then people don't want to believe them because of the one's that lie.
