They refuse to prosecute wall st for multi-trillion dollar crimes...refuse to prosecute neo-con war criminals for crimes against humanity - but they sure have a thing for medical marijuana, don't they? Yeah, go on furlough - and for holder the BO-gart in chief hack make it a four year furlough.

That's because it is so cheap to prosecute whistle-blowers as compared with banks which fight back that he's got all the money he needs. The hands-off corporations is a winning strategy for Eric Holder.

Gee and one would think we could lose a large percentage of the justice department as the Attorney General is not using it for anything. The banks, Wall St. and a host of other financial companies along with assorted big businesses are too big to prosecute because it would cause some dislocation so what do we need all those guys for. Even marijuana crimes are becoming low level so what are all those lawyers up there doing every day, surfing the net?

I guess they can't fool all the people, all the time.
Another political scam.
I wonder if the Justice Department would gain any political advantage investigating the billions wasted in fake disabilities and fraudulent welfare recipients, as a way to avoid Obama's invention, the sequester.

Or prosecute HSBC who actually confessed to laundering drug money and transferring money for sanctioned governments. That's where all the cash came from. By not prosecuting any corporations he's saved the taxpayers, I mean his department a fortune.

There's no fat or discretionary spending in air traffic control. By not prosecuting banks he's saved his department a fortune. HSBC bank even confessed to laundering drug money and moving funds for sanctioned governments. But whistle-blowers and terms of service violators come cheap. Eric Holder's still got most of his budget.

I'm quite certain that there is both fat and discretionary spending in air traffic control. The FAA budget is huge, the likelihood is that there were other smarter ways to save the 2% decreas in the increase. Do you figure that perhaps there are other employees not as vital to the air safety that could have been cut back, I think so. In fact the budget for them this year is actually higher than what Obama asked for! We have to see the pain though so the money addiction can continue. Spend Baby!

How do I reach these keedz?
11:42 PM on 04/24/2013
Think about this. There will be no furloughs of prosecutors or the courts. In contrast, the federal public defenders budget has been seriously cut and defenders across the country are forced to take furloughs. Most will say, that's okay, put the criminals in jail. The problem is that prosecutors often over charge. With no vigorous defense, more are convicted and sentenced to unnecessarily harsh and lengthy sentences. We pay $100,000 per year per person to imprison people to no effect. If we devoted some of that money to defense and to rehabilitation, we would actually save money and get better results. I know, most are not buying this, but it is a fact.
12:16 AM on 04/25/2013
You are right most are not buying your nonsense.

So why does Barry make us stand in ever longer lines at the airports?
SabeWhat
If you lie to win you lose, always, eventually.
12:21 AM on 04/25/2013
That is President Obama to you. Maybe a better question is why did the "Super Comm" fail to do their job which has resulted in you standing in those lines because of the bill that was written by Congress and Signed by the President. What committee failed and who wrote the bill?

'Super committee' fails to reach agreement.

The goal outlined in the Budget Control Act of 2011 was to cut at least $1.5 trillion over the coming 10 years, (avoiding much larger "sequestration" across-the-board cuts which would be equal to the debt ceiling increase of $1.2 trillion incurred by Congress through a failure to produce a deficit reduction bill), therefore bypassing Congressional debate and resulting in a passed bill by December 23, 2011. On November 21, the committee concluded its work, issuing a statement that began with the following: "After months of hard work and intense deliberations, we have come to the conclusion today that it will not be possible to make any bipartisan agreement available to the public before the committee’s deadline." The committee was formally terminated on January 31, 2012.

Also the right brags that these cuts are a good start. Now things getting bad the right is trying to blame it all on Obama and the fools on the right believe him and will not check real facts.
06:27 PM on 04/25/2013
We had a "super committee" because congress was too chicken to cut anything.
11:22 PM on 04/24/2013
Let Holder and his shills take Furloughs, no one will complain, and we will save some money.
