Five largest TV markets in the NBA: NY, LA, Chicago, Philly, Dallas. C'mon, conspiracy junkies. Why aren't any of them playing for the championship? Isn't your contention the league is fixed?

Yep, that's what I've been saying. Especially since the Pacers beat the Knicks. If the league was fixed there's NO WAY that would have happened. Yet, people have actually argued against me for that, without being able to make any points apart from, "Nu uh!"

I'm not stunned. And anybody that watched the first game shouldn't be either. The Pacers are legit and Paul George is turning into a superstar right before our eyes.

Miami will be coming back stronger. They have the ability to turn up the Heat at any given moment. I don't think Miami is firing on full cylinders yet.

LMAO.

Enough with the conspiracy theories about the league and the refs conspiring to control the outcomes of games. Four of the seven smallest TV markets in the league made the playoffs: Memphis, San Antonio, Milwaukee, and Indianapolis. Three of those teams are still playing.

Overall Miami, Indy, San Antonio, and Memphis are the 16th, 26th, 36th, and 49th largest TV markets in the US, respectively. How, exactly, does their being the last four teams in the playoffs constitute a conspiracy? Seems like a pretty financially disadvantageous conspiracy for the league.

NYC alone has a larger population than the whole state of Indiana. Plus Long Island. Plus upstate. Plus Jersey. Plus all the NYers who have moved all over the country, including to south Florida. Even the Nets fans follow the Knicks closely, being cross-town rivals.

These conspiracy theories are just another way for people to whine that their teams aren't as good.

Lebron James needs to stop passing in the final minute and go the hole. I don't know why this guy makes the game so much harder than it has to be. He is unstoppable when he goes to the rim.

You mean until big Roy blocks his shot into the cheap seats.

Hibbert is very, very good defending the rim. Lebron James is one of the best ever at getting to the rim. My money is on Lebron James.

His 2 turnovers with under a minute left cost them that game. Not so easy to get to the rim with 7'2" Hibbert standing there this time. He does need to be the one shooting the ball even if its a jumper though. He was hitting all game. The ball has to be in his or Wades hands with a minute left.

The Pacers will have to play each game flawlessly to win. It's apparent that the referees will call a foul against them if they fart too hard. We can see who the system wants to win
05:25 PM on 05/25/2013
I do not know about that. I think David West gets away with a lot of forearm offensive fouls.
04:13 PM on 05/25/2013
Since David Stern suspended JR Smith for an elbow which missed, I'm still waiting for them to suspend Wade for an elbow that didn't.

Looks like I'll be waiting a long time.

Bunch of crooks.

YOu should aim your ire and Dan Gilbert, not Lebron James. Gilbert refused to recruit All Stars to pair with Lebron. Lebron wants to win championships and he wasn't going to be able to do so by himself.

Indeed. He carried that crap team on his back for far too long. I don't blame him at all for getting out of there. And now he has a ring to show what a great decision it was.

True.

LeBron needs an All Star to lead the team.

Wade's injuries are why they'll lose to Pacers.

If Miami keeps getting out-rebounded,there is a pretty good chance they will lose.Another thing----we need Bosh to play up to par and somebody to hit a damn three!!!

pacers are a nightmare matchup for the heat, BUT the pacers have to play pretty much perfectly to win each game.
im a closet lebron hater but he is OUT OF CONTROL AMAZING. when he has the ball and doesnt score, it's shocking. its like he can just point to the scoreboard and points start racking up. i will be SO proud of my pacers if we can get this series.

Indiana has to keep up the perfect plays for a long time. Miami has to just get it together and then the Pacers are in trouble.
