no biggie they will just sale our roads to private company's put up toll booths and take away public ownership of roads even though we pay a high tax on gas to fix said roads its really shameful what’s going on in out country.

You see crumbling infrastructure, but I see it as an offshoot of my freedom from high taxes.

Jokes aside, there are about 68,000 "structurally deficient" bridges in the US. So "falling into rivers unexpectedly" will be another offshoot of our freedom, if nothing is done soon.

How is it even possible that Google can send driverless cars around the country with apparent ease but trains on tracks collide?

Could you explain how that causes trains to run into each other and jump off the track?

Yes. It was called The Crumbling of America. And it's not just our bridges, but dams,
water and waste systems, the electrical grid. You name it; it's old and needs to be
replaced.
Most are over 50 years old.

I used to build and work on powerlines. I worked on an old transmission line that was built in 1928, lol Id say maybe a broken dam might change things but I dont think it did in the past when they broke.

Republicans get your infrastructure started. All our bridges and roads are badly in need of work You have let them go far to long. People are in need of work so lets get going and start fixing these broken down roads and bridges before more people die.
Our President has wanted to do this but you all say no or say it is up to the States and NO it isn't up to the States Congress can do it only they won't want to spend the money. They would rather spend millions on keeping Gitmo open and spending billions of dollars trying to do away with Obama Care.. which many of the citizens want to have.

Hey muirica, your roads and bridges are falling apart, your teachers are being laid off.. your 401K are pitiful, and health insurance costs can and will bankrupt you. but look at the bright side, we did spread freedom, liberate new oil fields, and the largest deposit of rare earth ever found that both china and russia cant get their hands on now ( you know the stuff powering your iFreedoms. and.. and... we spent it all on wall street and big defense contractors.. but look at the bright side.. you get to enjoy the roar of a very loud and overpriced fighter jet for 5 seconds passing overhead during superbowl. What do you say to that huh?

No matter how much infrastructure is damaged, no matter how many people are affected by them, this house of representatives will refuse to bend with the budget proposal because they love America and Americans so much!

That's what they say but it is simply not true they (Congress) don't give a hoot about the people in this country. If it's what they want they will spend the money Wars seem to be more important to them.

The state didnt have a sign stating the height, so the contractor is off the hook.

UHHHH...Guess again. The permits all read it to be an approved route, BUT the permitee is responsible for ALL damage. I have been in the pilot car business since 1982.

Obama takes credit for that. But he is unaware of all the other things going bad in the administration. But don't worry - Holder is investigating Holder's failures.
