By arming the insurgents in Syria, the US should put itself on the list of State sponsors of terrorism.

It is difficult for me to understand why Cuba is on the list but Saudi Arabia from where the 911 terrorists came, and Yemen and other middle east countries that harbor terrorists not only are absent from the list but receive millions of US dollars in so-called aid.

Why is castrofascism terrorist???

People (US gov among them) believe that hat criminal regime is terrorist because it gives secure heaven, training, finance and weapons to terrorist groups as ETA, FARC, IZBOLAH, HAMAS, etc..... but the main terrorist activity of this tyranny is against the Cuban people..... Cubans families (included family’s children) that dare to oppose or dissent of regime's tyranny are under siege, beaten and harassed in their own homes by paramilitary mobs trained by the criminal regime and acting with total impunity....., every week woman asking for the freedom of their relatives in prison for political reasons are beaten and jailed..... dissident and opponents are killed in prison or in the streets........ the terror campaign on the Cuban people non stops since the very first day the castro gang took the power.

No one knows a terrorist better than another terrorist.

In 2011, one of Castro's favorite pupils, the renowned international terrorist, Carlos "the Jackal," was interviewed about his victims and crimes.

Asked about civilians who lost their lives in his attacks, he said:

"There were very few. I calculated that they were fewer than 10 percent. So out of 1,500 - 2,000 killed, there were not more than 200 civilian victims."

Asked about his crimes, Carlos said his crimes were "minor" and stated:

"Fidel Castro killed more people."

Moreover, Castro himself in one of his arrogant tirades (below) warned the world of his terrorist prowess:

So let me guess you are about 65 years old or so and want the Cuba you grew up in back. Well that is your political agenda and you are welcome to it. However, the fact is that the majority of the people in Cuba do not share your opinions. You lost, they won now get over it and be happy that the US has given you a home.

To be perfectly honest there is just no room for your cause anymore. You are living in the past, we don't care that you fled your home anymore, You have a new home and should be happy with it. Instead you spread your disinformation and lies and push your agenda.

Save it for somebody who can't see right through you.

Oh yes, Cuban are so happy with castrofascism that they prefers to die in the sea sailing a rustic raft to freedom in Honduras or Salvador than stay in the castrofascist paradise........... Cubans support castrofascism so much that they escape by hundreds of thousands each time castrofascism or any country around the world open a door to them..... Cubans disagree with "my" thinking way so much that 11.000 of them invaded Peru's embassy in less than 3 hours and castro had to tell the army to surround all embassies to avoid the escaping Cubans to leave the country empty.......... you are dreaming, democracy and freedom is the future not only of Cuba but of the whole world.... the past, the obsolete, the proven failure are the totalitarian regimes, the tyrannies, the communism, the fascism, the castroism and all destructive and stupid ideologies that made the world to back centuries and made Cuba to back a whole century in the last decades........ don’t lose your time trying to make this exchange a personal thing…… so….. don’t try to kill the massager because you can’t deal with the message……

U.S.-CUBA TRADE AND ECONOMIC COUNCIL, INC.
ECONOMIC EYE ON CUBA- February 2012 - Report For Calendar Year 2011
2011-2001 U.S. EXPORT STATISTICS FOR CUBA

The following is the data for exports from the United States to the Republic of Cuba relating to the Trade Sanctions Reform and Export Enhancement Act (TSRA) of 2000, which re-authorized the direct commercial (on a cash basis) export of food products (including branded food products) and agricultural products (commodities) from the United States to the Republic of Cuba, irrespective of purpose. The TSRA does not include healthcare products, which remain authorized by the Cuban Democracy Act (CDA) of 1992.

The data represents the U.S. Dollar value of product exported from the United States to the Republic of Cuba under the auspice of TSRA. The data does not include transportation charges, bank charges, or other costs associated with exports from the United States to the Republic of Cuba. The government of the Republic of Cuba reports data that, according to the government of the Republic of Cuba, includes transportation charges, bank charges, and other costs. However, the government of the Republic of Cuba has not provided verifiable data. The use of trade data reported by the government of the Republic of Cuba is suspect. The government of the Republic of Cuba has been asked to provide verifiable data, but has not.

US backed Latin American dictators like Augusto Pinochet (for one) have a far worse record of terrorism than Castro - including attacks in our own capitol of Washington DC.
Never listen to anything the CIA has to say about Latin America.

I DONT THINK THE CASTROFASCISTS BEAT PINOCHET DEAR!

VICTIMS OF THE CUBAN REVOLUTION- Cases up to January 25, 2012
This work documents loss of life and disappearances of a political or military nature attributed to the Cuban Revolution. Each documented case is available for review at The Cuba Archive and substantiated by bibliographic/historic data and reports from direct sources. Due to the ongoing nature of the work and the difficulty of obtaining and verifying data from Cuba, the following totals change as research progresses and are considered far from exhaustive. Cuba Archive is currently examining additional cases -most are expected to be added to this table.

Non-Combat Victims of the Castro Regime: Work-in-progress-Documented Cases
Total = 10,500
"Balseros" (estimate to 2003) = 77,833 victims drowned at sea
http://cubaarchive.org/home/images/stories/1.25.2012_update.pdf

International law and other considerations on the repatriation of Cuban balseros by the United States - By Maria C. Werlau - August 2004

In essence, these voyages “are inherently dangerous and regularly result in injuries and deaths during voyage attempts on both homemade vessels and boats used by migrant smugglers.”7 It has been estimated that in the last four decades over 70,000 Cubans of all ages may have perished at sea trying to escape

Why don't you publish comparison stats showing deaths by US backed Latin American dictators so we can have a straight forward discussion.
And remember, the same people who put Pinochet in power, would like to install some new leadership in todays ever more progressive Latin America, thats why Mitt Romney claimed during the election that "Hezbollah had infiltrated throughout Latin America" - that's where the CIA would like to take it's terror war next.

Pinochet was defeated by his citizen's/victim's sons and daughters.
Isabel Allende and Michelle Bachelet being two of the most notable.
A lesson in why the CIA can never be trusted on the issue of Latin America.

Cubans are not allowed to leave their prison island nor are they allowed any say in how their island is governed either via a free media or a free vote. In return for a 40 hour working week Cubans get $5, rationed food, rationed housing and rationed medical care but not the right to strike.

Cuba is less a modern state and more a vast antebellum slave plantation, run by one family, a family that lives in the lap of luxury while the people they have exploited for decades toil in the baked fields and rotting factories, a family that regularly demands its slaves thank it for their wretched condition.

It is pathetic to note how many self declared radicals hold up the slave island as a beacon of progress and freedom.

If you go to countries like Angola you will see lots of people hopping around on one leg. Thanks to Castro having his people placing millions and millions of landmines throughout Africa the people are terrirified of just walking sometimes.Cuba has been far less helpful in recovering the landmines.

Bullying is so unfair.

“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse, and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.” ― Desmond Tutu

You'd think that traveling to Cuba where a doctor earns 50 dollars a month would be an in expensive holiday....quite the contrary. Travel to Cuba while interesting (it's a beautiful, relatively underpopulated country) is very expensive (guess where all the money goes).

Both parties are all too eager to pander to the Florida anti-Castro population, since Florida is a must-win state for the White House. Too bad for Cuba, Castro spent decades digging the country deeper and deeper into this hole for no other reason than he got to remain the head jailer.
